I’m putting this comment here for all the internet experts to tell me all the things I did wrong! Do your best 😂😂
The only thing wrong that I saw was that you didn't bring a third person to get out and open/close gates... That new-to-you wrecker is a beast, congrats!
Ok let me try 😄 While you were traveling behind the 5th wheel, how would you have gone past it to pull it again when it got stuck again ?
Casey, don't dislike the advice queens or haters, it shows viewer engagement and you are reaching a new audience. It is when you stop getting them you should be worried as you probably aren't growing.
There you are, you get your way, I have now told you what you did wrong.
And you said you weren't good at this.....Nice truck!
You forgot to turn on your flashers to warn other vehicles on that dirt road. 😄
The new to you wrecker made short work of that job. Congratulations on acquiring that workhorse. I will be watching for more.
So glad to see Grumpy in another episode. He is never grumpy! He brings a smile to my face. You are a good guy Casey, wish they were more around like you. Take care, stay safe
The way it bit and hunkered down when you were using the yankum was impressive. Torque!
Having the rope hooked to the boom helped pull my back end down and bite in for traction
@@CaseyLaDelle man it worked.. very nice 👍 love the videos, btw
From an armchair tow truck I cannot see you doing anything wrong, like your channel, honest and informative, thanks, waiting for the next one
Dude I love the whole late 80s early 90s MANUAL ford tow truck. If you ever sell it, PLEASE remember me. I will purposefully get into the towing business if I were to end up with it.
For those saying the mirrors are turned the wrong way, they are not, those mirrors are made to be used both ways depending on whether or not you need the extra width when a trailer is being towed. Great job Casey. That is one cool wrecker.
Just remember that everyone in RUclips comments are experts lol
@Bama I agree 110%. My 93 Chevy dually pickup has these type of mirrors installed from the factory. If someone was to use the mirrors in The wider position they would end up getting them knocked off because that would make the vehicle wider than some of these city street lanes.
***Disclaimer***, because I'm leaving a comment here, I do not claim to be an expert. I'm only going by facts.
Contrary to what one famous person said, "truth over facts".
Casey, that's a beast of a creampuff you've got there! That Ford still has many years of doing what it was designed for in it.
Glad to see Grumpy is back ,, us recliner drivers gotta stick together .. LOL And U know we don't mind watch others work ;-}
Loved the "Grumpy Cam" too !
Great to see grumpy back with you again
Brilliant truck Casey. Love the pivot wing windows. I miss them on modern cars.
Wow. What a way to live for the summer. In that beautiful country, in that big trailer.
That’s the way I want to retire.
Well Grumpy ,I had knee replacement on April 29 ,and it’s been tough going,I talked to the physical therapist and he enlightened me how every one is different and we all heal at different levels and that it can take a year to get back to some kind of normalcy, hang in there ,with any luck I’ll have my other knee done next spring
I liked the wing window air conditioning
Your wrecker is a BEAST!! Love it!
Yes, the number of dually trucks pulling those huge camper trailers is amazing.
1:51 Of COURSE he know where he's going...
He ALWAYS knows where he's going...
He's going that way [points out front windshield]...
Just like he ALWAYS knows where he is [Right here]...
😄😁😆😅😂🤣
The old wrecker was a good buy, and we are all happy to see grumpy on another, best wishes that the knee heals quick.
I am in love, look at her.4 wheel drive dually, old school doing it.Please keep posting!
Love this old ford!! She's a beaut !!
That truck payed off big time. Great save of them. I was like yep when I saw the tires dig in ur were going to get it.
Always nice to see Grumpy! That new truck is a beast!
Double winched and Yankum Rope, you da man.
Glad to see there is someone else that talks to their vehicles. Stay safe.
She needs a name... “Old Truck” doesn’t do her justice.
the little truck that could......and did!
Casey the wrecker definitely was a good investment since it made that recovery look easy I was really impressed on the very first recovery. Keep up the great work.
Love the old-style gas pumps
Excellent recovery. Well thought out, as usual. And what a nice guy, providing water to the people you pulled out! Way to go!
That wrecker just makes me smile every time I see it now.
That truck is a really nice solid wrecker. Glad Ben sold it to you so we can see a lot more of it in action. Great job on the recovery! Hope Grumpy's knee heals up for him.
Ya aint dun nuthin wrong...Their out aint they?? Nice work and the truck's lookin real good.
Central Oregon is gods country, you are so lucky to live there brother! Except in the winter lol.
The Ol' Bricknose did good!!
Ahh yesss, the old 260 AV air conditioner system. Brings back fond memories of the back roads of my youth. Keep 'um coming Casey, love the "new" wrecker!
I had 4 and 60 air in all my trucks till my 78 F250. What a difference. Lol.
Are you taking her to the tow truck Olympics? Thanks for sharing.
No
@@CaseyLaDelle Thanks for clearing that up. I'm sure many people were wondering. Thanks for the Videos!
I am so in awe of you Casey! The logistics involved to do what you do - my gosh - you are one smart guy! WOW
That truck is a monster! First real job with it and you got 40K pounds up a silty hill, did some badass wheelies, and you got grumpy out. Absolutely effing amazing! Make sure grumpy keeps up on the exercises or he'll cripple himself. Great job! 😁👍
I remember when you backed one of your trucks right up to the edge of a high cliff to clean up some large stuff that people dumped over. And I think you even called that video This one scared me. That was a nail biter.
Gotta love Casey's work. Never a doubt they'll get them out. Welcome back grumpy. Hopefully see more grumpy cam.
Oh my! Fabulous recovery Casey. You and the truck made it look so easy. ❤️🇦🇺🇺🇸
The best thing for grumpy's knee is to keep moving. The more you use it the faster it will get better. I had knee surgery a year ago and it is still sore from time to time. keep moving. Good job on that recovery Casey the F-250 was a purchase.
Casey you have one of the coolest looking wreckers on RUclips in my opinion. Looks like that fifth wheel was all that f-250 wanted lol. Good job!
The first and most important piece of equipment that I didn't see was your noise canceling headphones nice recovery Casey
Wrecker did great!
No disco ball wings on this truck. Great rig.
You did good Casey, you did good.
love that truck!! such a good rig, just got my 74 wrecker up an runnin the other day myself
That harsh front end can be completely solved with a reverse shackle system. Unreal difference. Strengthens the front frame rails with the cross brace at the front mounts. You can also upgrade to superduty springs, that are all 5/8 hardware instead of 1/2...the x sring for super dutys are a bit longer then the obs, providing an even better ride. Sky's offroad in Central Oregon. Also check out OBS solutions.
Glad to see you up and about Grumpy, take care slow and steady from one old bloke to another it is not a race. Lucky you have a nice young bloke to look after you. Nice job Casey. 🇦🇺
WOW. That was an amazing pull for sure. If I lived where they do I would have a house built there and keep the 5th wheel up where I lived in it in the winter so that it wasn’t having to be dragged in and out of that area. I don’t think it would be good for it to come and go from there too many times. Stay safe and God Bless
All 3 of you did good 👍
what beautiful country
Creamsicle or maybe Screamsicle. Nice job Casey.
NICE SAVE -- UR A REAL PRO!!!
Great recovery
Grumpy's back!
God well done that record is going to be a very good attribute to your job. Nothing like helping other people and glad to see Grumpy up and around with you!
Truck makes it nice for recoveries .
Great Job there lads
Life is an adventure or it's nothing at all. 👍👍
I pull a 35’ fifth wheel with a 2WD F250 and folks ask me why I don’t have a 4WD. My answer is that if I’m going somewhere that needs 4WD, I don’t need to be pulling a trailer there, I’m too old to ride rough now. I’m enjoying watching the rescues without being the rescued.
Nice truck. Lucky You.
another great video Casey, i like the way you make your videos, it makes them seem more genuine then say higher production ones.
grumpy your awesome take itn easey on thta knee
It did the job and looked good with that orange/white paint job 👍
Mate other than the truck was pulling serious weight and lifting the front you controlled it and the winches just drug that 5th wheel up id say that trucks a valuable member of cascade heavy recovery great to see you back Grumpy hope the recovery gets easier soon. Great effort again Casey👍🇦🇺
Grumpy is awesome
Facts
what a great tow job Casey! Definitely a whole lot of trailer for that rough road. The new wrecker and the 1" yankum rope did the job perfectly! #naysayersblowchunks #internetexpertzipit
I love how remote it is were u live. It's almost like you're living back in time.
Yee Haw🤙 What a ride💯 I love the area, it's so pretty💚 Sometimes I miss living in Oregon. 29 years in Jacksonville & Medford. I've lived in Prescott, Arizona for 22 years now and I love it. I get to enjoy Oregon thru your videos Casey👍😊 At least that's a nice 5th wheel to have that far out on the family ranch💯
Great truck!
Got to love wing windows I miss them on modern trucks and cars.
Good work All. I agree with Casey, that was some skill getting that trailer in and out by the owner. One wrong depth-perception and either the front goes off the edge or the trailer tire gets bit by a rock in the bank. I just delivered food to people in tents in Portland yesterday. My truck engine is being rebuilt and had to borrow a church one-ton. Wing-window A/C.
I do same job , you do here in south central Alaska i use a 1988 f350 7.3 n/a c-6 /440 holmes its a trusty rig and paid for. I use it alot for snow ditch divers and flipping toy trailers .still gets 18 mpg .
Casey, I always enjoy your reality and transparency. I am sorry to hear about Grumpy having some issues healing his knee. I have over 30 years as a Holistic Health Detective, and like you are resourceful in thinking outside the box with solutions. In fact, that's what I enjoy so much about watching you, is the way you bring in resources and knowledge to help people out of tough spots!
The wrecker did a great job pulling that truck and trailer out really good! Good job Casey and Grumpy on the camera!
Good job ! Fun to see a real wrecker at work!
Welcome back Grumpy! You need to get your logo on the new member of the tow and rescue fleet.
Great commentary by Mr Grumpy! Great to have you back!
This is the first time I have read all the comments. Because you phrased it and peaked my interest. Great job as most always
Great work Casey! I like your can do no BS attitude and you willingness to do good for the people around you. Keep being you!
great to see the newest acquisition put to good use. thanks Casey
Thanks for the video, always enjoy watching!
YES it works! Good work from you Casey!
Interesting, Thank You . A fine example of how the right equipment and knowlage , makes every thing work better
Glad to se Mr. Grumpy back in the saddle! That was awesome. I can't imagine what they were thinking buying that huge rig knowing they have that hill to deal with but it is good to be comfortable.
Great recovery Casey that unit is a beast. You got yourself a winner.
What a truck. You scored with that wrecker. Course you already know that. Great job 👍
Nice recovery. Looks like a fun day! Wish all my vehicles had that old AC system.
Thanks. Always enjoy.
That's a great truck. Your demonstration of the truck's pulling power, even though not your intention, was every bit of awesome.
Be safe and enjoy the victory.
Great job and thanks for bringing Grumpy. Hope to see a history adventure in your future with grumpy. I'm sure he would love to get out and about some more.
The wreckers done well didn't even feel it on there, looks very capable, great buy, it's good that Grumpy is back on his feet, all the best to yous and your loved ones
Thanks for taking us along. Nice camera work also.
Awesome wrecker. I so glad that you bought it for your fleet. Also congratulations on the silver play button
Great content , great work by Casey , and great camera work by Grumpy ! Great truck , too !
I am happy to watch you Casey. Have a Wonderful Evening. God Bless
