Sort of impressed the back of the target didn't spall given the forces involved.
The first round on the gel torsos was a Brass solid and it started to tumble in the first one and smacked the second one sideways.
Second round was a Lead Hollow-Point so... HPs doing HP things.
Makes you wonder if this was the "Lung vacating 9mm" Biden was on about...

The largest equivalent rounds I’ve seen in person are a German 20mm round and a 20mm Vulcan shell, both are massive, though they’re tiny compared to a 5 inch semi fixed round which is about 4ft tall.
I'd recommend anchoring that cannon to the table, but the table just looks like plastic.

So a bullet with too much velocity causes a thing known as over penetration meaning it would go through a target but not do as much damage as it could.
The first zombie torso slowed the bullet down a bit and maybe caused it to tumble which is why you see the bigger entry hole in the second torso causing a lot more energy to transfer into the torso instead of through it. Also it looked like it hit the spine on the second one causing it to fall apart as it did.
This comes from my decent but still largely amateurish understanding of ballistics.
