Pflugerville is a nice little suburb of Austin. I love living there. (I live very close to the water park actually.) We have everything we need and it’s close enough to Austin if we want to go there too. Most of us easily commute to Austin for work. Casa Garcia’s is way better than El Rincon by the way. 😁

I am looking to relocate from Houston to Austin, but Austin proper is too insanely expensive.
Coming from Houston Pflugerville looks like a small town, but if i can still get big city life with a short drive it looks like a good place to be.

@@AustinTX I am actually in northwest part of Houston, close to The Woodlands area. I grew up more in the northeast area.
I love my hometown so much, but I like that Austin is a bit more compact...that and I just want something a little different.
I feel you.
Houston has a lot of culture and amazing food, but everything is so far apart.
And humid.

I really wish agents making these videos would show apartment living in these suburbs. I haven't found any of this in the suburbs.
I love that there are master built communities in that area and it shows! I used to live there. Master built communities aren’t a thing elsewhere bc the cities are too old. Unfortunately i had to move back to the east coast but i long to come back to P-ville
I think you're right, it seems like master planned communities are mostly a Texas thing. I I have seen them in a few other states, but Texas seems to be the champ at master planned, haha!

I am looking to buy in Pflugerville but I don't need a 3,000 sq foot home since I am single and don't have children. Are there any communities with cottages no larger than 1200 square feet like Highland Park?

Highland Park is wonderful.
Sarah’s creek off Pflugerville Parkway just a smidge east of IH 35 is wonderful too.
Lots of cute smaller homes there.

Not at all like the show! Friday Night Lights was kind of a cult classic over here but it was a gritty, dirty kinda cool whereas in your video it looks so wholesome and bright.

The only “bad” school in Pflugerville is Dessau Middle School, all the others are decent
Used to live in Pflugerville, not nice. It’s gross and just a giant cement park. If you want nice, head over to cedar park or south west Austin. Pflugerville was a cow patty town turned into a pop-up Stockton style town. If you like the American dream in the middle of nowhere, you’ll love it.
When were you there ?
2019-2020
Lake Pflugerville, is ok if you don’t want shade (there’s hardly any trees). There’s not anything “unique” it’s all big box chains. If you love consumerism and shopping from big box stores.. you’ll love it. If you want anything original, unique, small business.. it’s really not the place. Its also quite a detour in from the 35 unless you want to use a toll road, which typically if you’re commuting everyday that adds up quickly. The water park is kid ridden at all hours, if you wanted to enjoy it without children it would be nearly impossible.

Stop lying... nothing really cool in Pflugerville.. high property tax rate, extremely hard water, school grade is not good...
