My only problem with the Karsus lore is that all gods have absolute control over their profiles. The Goddess of magic could sense all magic being cast 18 days prior to it being cast and is instantly aware of all high-level magic being manifest, so I feel like it's more the goddess of magic being lazy to prevent the spell from happening than Karsus doing anything wrong. From what I understood, the casting time of Karsus' avatar is a long cast.
After the events that lead up to the destruction of the Netheril empire, The goddess of magic doesn't prevent level 10+ spells from existing. She made it so higher-level spells need multiple casters to achieve the feat. Elven high magic still works and is on par with level 12 magic. One of the elven high-magic is the ability to imprison a god and remove the influence from reality permanently.

The idea is that at that point Mystril didn't place any limitations on magic at that point and doesn't monitor it's use, the way Mystra/Midnight do later on.
After this she bans spells above 10th level for individual casters but ritual/group magic can still exceed that limit. 3e Also had epic level magic which works a little differently but it kinda bent the rules on what magic could do.

Loving the videos. My only problem is there is practically no outtro. I'm listening to one topic and as it's ending there is only a brief silence before it starts the auto play. I wanna listen to more but the auto play usually picks a different channel. If you could give a little like "that's all folks" at the end so I have time to switch back to RUclips and pick another video I would greatly appreciate it ma dude.

Good feedback, I’ve done some outros and I would say most people do click out right away, but I see the benefit of that. I’ll start adding a quick little “thanks for watching!” At the end. I just like the dramatic fade to black if you couldn’t tell

@The_NaturalOnes I appreciate you reading my comment and taking it into consideration. And the fade to black is a classic for a reason. Great content BTW I've been listening practically all day.
