- I assume this is the Fighting Creek Quiet Walkway. I was expecting on stopping here today, but the parking area for the other trail I was planning to visit was blocked with road construction equipment. The trail is less than 0.5 miles long and takes approximately 10-15 minutes as long as you only hike up to the Fright Creek Cemetery. The trail does go to the Sugarlands Visitor Center, but I didn't walk that far. Still a nice little trail, but the climb up to the cemetery is a little steep.

Hi Travis! That was a pretty little walk..that does look like an old cemetery with the exception of the one dated 1990..that was very kind of you not to show the names😊🙏🐎🍁🍂🍁youre always so respecful😊
Thanks Laney! I had no idea this cemetery was even here. It was a special find.
I am really enjoying this quiet walkways series! I wonder if most of them lead to cemeteries, and they gave the name "quiet walkways" as an indicator for their loved ones to find them. We have been going to the Smokies for over 30 years and always noticed them but drove on by. Thanks again, Travis!
I'm not sure, but it has me curious now. 🙂 I've done the same, drove by, and never stopped. I hope to visit the rest of the quiet walkways over the next few months.
Nice hike Travis. You got me wanting to start doing those quiet walkways now. Myself and friends are hoping to hike up to Mt. Leconte on the 27th just depending on the weather. We may have to get on these trails as well. Thanks for sharing
Hi Pierce! The quiet walkways definitely surprised me. They are much nicer than I expected. Enjoy Mt. LeConte. I hope to hike up there again this winter.
Is that the old road?
I don't know for sure, but it definitely looks like it could be.
