There’s a drag Mexican youtube show you could watch, there are 3 seasons and currently a 4th season coming up, if you’re gonna watch it skip it to season 2 cuz season 1 is terrible haha, I think you might find it entertaining it’s called La Más Drag, saludos hermana!

    You may do this already but if you gave a "business card" on how to sign on to your RUclips channel to all those you talk to, they would subscribe to your channel and build your subscriptions. Everyone wants to see themselves on "TV" !

    Chiles rellenos 🤤!! My Mexican Madre made them when I went to stay with them in Saltillo. They’re the most delicious food in Mexico.

    Many years ago I lived in Mexico City (in the 'Pink Zone', when it used to be a beautiful upscale neighborhood) and I was told by locals to never go to the "Merced" Market because it was 'The Most Dangerous Place in Mexico". Is it? I guess you have no problem at all.... Have fun. Cheers

    • @colibritravel5994
      @colibritravel5994  3 года назад +1

      I read it was dangerous, and the guy speaking english in the video commented on it about being dangerous outside. It seemed like it could definitely be a bit sketchy. I made it out unscathed

    • @carriebtc
      @carriebtc 3 года назад +3

      I guess is the same in NY, @@colibritravel5994 , I've never been in some neighborhoods in my own city for being known as "the most dangerous in America". The same in Mexico. maybe next time I visit Mexico City, I'll stop by 'Merced'. There are some impressive architectural monuments from 4, 5 centuries ago in that area that I always wanted to visit, but never did because of the zone's bad reputation. I believe it's the oldest hood in the capital. Have fun dude, don't waste your time in murky 'cabinas'. Lots of great places to meet people and have fun with them. Cheers

    I was a bit shocked, and saddened, to see how crowded the metro car was. Do you have any information about how the vaccine roll out is progressing in CDMX? It must be nerve wracking for all those folks who have no choice but to take public transit. When we were in CDMX (before covid) we used the metro frequently and wondered how far people were commuting to get to work. I am sure the folks in the restaurants of Roma, etc are travelling a very long way each day. Anyway, another great video! Thanks.

    • @colibritravel5994
      @colibritravel5994  3 года назад +1

      Thanks, Dan! I've already met 2 or 3 people that live about 45 minutes to an hour out from where I'm staying but come in nonetheless. If you're in the high risk category for covid and public transit is the only means you can sustain yourself economically I can definitely imagine it would be very stressful!
      Mexico has begun vaccinating people but are currently only vaccinating front line workers and people 60 or 65+. I will be several more months or well into next year until everyone is able to get a vaccine

      @@SPKLifeStyle2.0 You are right, shocked is too strong; but I was surprised to see that the crowds on the metro had not thinned out like they have in many cities around the world. As for sad - I was simply expressing empathy for people who have no option but to continue commuting in crowded conditions. It makes me sad to think that they are worried about taking the virus home to their loved ones.
