Thank you Rich! If they fix that category it *could* allow them to add another needed category to the Autograph and supercharge the Autograph Journey as a Travel card. I hope they do!
In terms of realistic transfer partners I hope they add Jet Blue, it provides a good easy to redeem value on budget travel, similar to Choice with hotels.
Aeroplan is the only partner I regularly wish WF had. Skywards, Asia Miles, and KrisFlyer would all be nice to have but not to the same degree of Aeroplan.
Wells Fargo Bank was once Warren Buffet favorite holding along with American Express untill the scandal and CEO didn't listen to Warren to fix the issue. Wells Fargo are still under few remaining federal restrictions in how they operate their business. They are doing far better than in the past, they are doing well with credit cards, your paychecks are credit on Wednesday not Friday as Bank of America and Chase. I stay at Choice and Radisson on road trips besides Hampton Inn and Holiday Inn Express. My question for you which is better U.S Altitude Connect or Wells Fargo Autograph Journey in your opinion for road trips. I do have 2 cards from each financial institution.
They're almost entirely back, but unjustifiably judged on the actions of the past. As for Autograph Journey and Altitude Connect on a road trip...It's all preference. The Altitude Connect will get 4 points per dollar on gas up to $1k in spend ($10 back) and 4% on Hotels and Rentals. Redemptions via US Bank accounts and RTR get 1 cpp...beyond that, the redemptions hurt. Autograph Journey is 5% on hotels and/or discount travel sites/OTAs (booking, Expedia, etc.) at 3%, and redemption via transfer partners' redemption to bank accounts and more. The Journey doesn't have gas as a category. Both are flawed, but Journey produces transfer currency...Push at best.
If the Beyond can strike a balance between the Reserve and Venture X that would be incredible. Great earnings like the Reserve and credit not tied to a portal, but then lean in on the Venture X net neutral AF and with no stupid credits and I think Wells has an absolute banger. Oh and yeah Air Canada
Is there a list of vendors users have gotten the 4% back on from the Attune? The categories fit me like a glove but everyone on Reddit says getting the expected 4% is basically impossible for a lot of people. No discussion on youtube about it
I know the MyFico Forums had a long running topic on it: ficoforums.myfico.com/t5/Credit-Cards/Wells-Fargo-Attune-Confirmed-4-Purchases/td-p/6774319 Hope it helps!

Great info, thanks Matt! Totally agree about the Autograph Travel/Transit thing.

Wells Fargo 2025😎😎😎 Thanks for the info + video!
Thank you Jimmy!
Wells sent me yet another mailer on the Signify so I’ll take that to mean they really want me to open a second one
I’m on my third mailer. So. YEP!
Thanks! 👍
Thank you!!
would love to have any type of choice status. would be a nice touch and would entice me to use choice more now that you can book over 100 days out
It would be a solid move to add higher status to your top card. Beyond does sort of have to shake a tree, and this would be a tree worth shaking.
Loving WFC stock. Amazing run over this year.
It’s done very well. I’m excited about it
In terms of realistic transfer partners I hope they add Jet Blue, it provides a good easy to redeem value on budget travel, similar to Choice with hotels.
JetBlue would be an awesome addition. JetBlue and Aeroplan would make the Wells System pretty compelling
Aeroplan is the only partner I regularly wish WF had. Skywards, Asia Miles, and KrisFlyer would all be nice to have but not to the same degree of Aeroplan.
Yeah, Aeroplan is a “Must Get” and I think they know. Hopefully they get that out of the way first.
@@MattClausenYep Aeroplan is very strong partner.
@ it is. Wells definitely needs them. I just don’t know WHEN they’d get them.
I have been getting a lot of value from Qantas for AA flights. Hope they become a partner too.

That all sounds awesome.

I really don't want to see another Chase copy cat travel Card. The WF Attune is great, and I'd like to see more of that original thinking.
That’s fair. They shouldn’t copy Chase. I would LOVE to see them challenge US Bank though.
Attune is only great on paper.
All Credit Cards are great on paper and only Welcome Offers are worth it.
