Thanks so much for this. I just followed your tutorial on the 3-bead herringbone and although I made it into a bangle that time, I did find myself wondering what the best way to evenly add in a clasp was. Can't wait to give it a try 🥰
I love the magnetic clasps. Funny story, my hubby took me out for dinner last night. The bracelet I had on had a strong magnetic clasp and it kept picking up my silverware. LOL
Very helpfull indeed. So we should consider this lenght as we do the body considering both ends of the clasps are fixed with tripods, it can make a big difference .. will make myself a «barby» tripod + clasp to see how long it actualy is. Tks so much.
I’m a hugh fan and own several of your books. Your attention to details stand out and yes, attaching the clasp without the tripod link will make the finished product look sloppy however there’s elegance to the way you have added the clasp which makes the difference. Love your work. BTW your necklace is beautiful, any chance of a future project based on it? or what stitch is used? Many thanks.
What are your thoughts on safety chains for magnetic clasps especially for bracelets? I find that chain sticks to the magnets and a loop of beads look strange. I’ve had people say their bracelet jumped onto something metal and almost lost it.
I agree with your analysis. Magnetic beads attach to metal objects & designers should advise beaders and recommend using a safety chain. I had the experience of losing a very time-consuming, intricate bracelet. Magnetic beads should NOT be worn by anyone with a pacemaker.

This saved me a lot IV trial and error! Thank you Jill!
Perfect timing. I am just finishing my first 3 bead rope. I decided it would work best for my pendant.
Thank you so simple solution but very logical you are kind to share.
