Even if you find alpha in this crap market, the need for higher beta and your fees just takes it away.
China is headed for a lost decade in equity markets. Structural bear markets take a long time to work through. The imbalances in China’s economy will take multiple years to fix.

lost decades happen when earnings growth don't justify valuations, it isn;t some magical thing that happens for no reason. Look at chinese growth.
@@eliopalombi The biggest mistake an investor can make is assuming that economic growth directly leads to strong stock market performance in China. If you overlay China's GDP growth with their equity markets such as Hang Seng Index or CSI300, over the past 10 years, you will see that you haven't made any money despite the economic growth.
People like him mislead investors. How can you not say China is a screaming buy at multi year and multi decade lows lol.

@@darthvadeth6290 did you know that exports to the US dropped by over 100 billion in 2023. That was while the US economy was doing good. How is the Chinese economy? Oh yeah, February saw some of the lowest export numbers. The Chinese economy is floundering. No investment, exports tanking, and nobody in the west wants to buy their products.
Liang says he invests in fundamental and not macro policies, he had to be reminded of macro policy to enhance consumption that impact his investment, which shows you his valuation process is very flawed, never mind his crazy values AI stocks
