I love all the science from Neil DeGrasse. But I don't know why he brings in religion? And why specifically Muslims? There are so many religions and multi-cultural people living together from ancient times which no where in the world is possible. Everyone are given the same chance by merit from generations, even in space science field. The Legendary Space Scientist who made the nuclear test beneath the nose of USA, we call him the Missile Man and even unanimously elected him as the president is Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam is a Muslim. The great Scientist Homi J Bhabha is a Parsi (Americans don't even know what's a Parsi is). The founder of ISRO was Vikram Sarabhai who was a Jain (from the 0.1% minority of India). USA and people like him should come out the opinion to lecture India on what to do, and take care of yourself.
Fun fact: there were many "muslim" engineers involved in chandrayaan project and ISRO as a whole... The history and realities are so different between the 2 countries and civilizations I would really appreciate people keeping such opinions to themselves, as they are as ill-informed as it gets.

They just passed it to europe and thats why the western world thibks it's theirs. But if you even notice the numberic sustem used today was for very long thought to be arabic but we now know there are texts thousands of years prior in India with the numeric system we use today
The budget for chandrayan 3 was similar to the film - Aadipurush btw. So even after accounting for the purchasing power in india, it's still cheaper than our large budget films.
As an Indian it is very grateful to be in this generation to see these events that will remain in their solid form for centuries to come, such as Mangalyaan, Chandrayaan missions, And Ram Mandir
10:58 No , It's not PPT , it's an achievement even Indians and Isro is proud of having done that as Isro has cut down a lot with new secrets.. which even they are not comfortable sharing as it can change things in a way India won't want it.
About inclusiveness India has no policy of discrimination on the basis of religious beliefs anywhere . APJ Abdul Kalam was the chief of ISRO and the most respected scientists in the world . But sadly the picture presented by Leftist news items is just sad and pathetic .
I like what Jaby said at the very end about the relationship being both sided, rather than U.S. just trying to take from India. Your intentions sound pure, But IMO, what you're saying is hard to happen, if we see it from geo-political standpoint. We had cartoons mocking India with a cow, knocking at the so called "Elite Space Club" in the New York Times, and several other similar attempts by Wall Street Journal, and other European journalists/newspapers. So, as Indians, we do feel that West just wants to mock us, and now, when their claims and cartoons about India have all been laid flat, they suddenly want to talk about "sharing is caring", "one Earth", and "world peace"!
Man Power cost more in the US where as Indian scientists dont get paid a lot. ISRO also chose to work on alternatives routes of accomplishing sub missions which could have cost cutting.
There are many questions now about Armstrong's landing on moon bcoz if you watch the suit which was worn during moon landing which is in a museum its footprints is totally different from the picture of footprints which was taken by Armstrong on moon
The purchaing parity doesn't apply at that level Jabs. It's not like groceries to compare. Cause the cost is for the the Rockets and the fuel and it is equivalent to the US cost
The cost actually depends a lot on labour I think, raw materials comes secondary Hell even a normal doctors appointment in the US costs 10 times more compared to India Its not about purchasing power or some dumb logic, everything in the US is outrageously costlier
That but also indian missions are limited in everything while USA uses much more technology. For an example our indian rover has only one mega pixal camera just to guide rover not to take 4k photos. Lander doesn't record videos but takes photos so it can save energy. If it was american rover it would have had like incredible amount of tech on it. I think ISRO must get more budget and private sector partnership will be helpful
Well you are absolutely wrong. In 650cr budget , 500 cr is solely the cost of Launch by Rocket , 150cr is cost of material and all other. And the cost of launch is low because the way we are going there solely. If we want to go first like Russia , the launch cost would be double (1000cr ).
@@shayanraj7840 well the rocket won't launch by itself right there must be people working behind, whether its tech or the raw materials ultimately it all comes down to man power, right from the engineers, designers to manufacturers, suppliers even people who were serving food, India has the cheapest labour and work force in the world and with brilliant minds and quality service, makes India one of the major players in the world really, the reason why India is a leader in space launch service missions
@@friendlyatheist9589Mission is scientific research and nit to send videos to public. Also,Isro will have to upgrade communication band x on transmittion,,this mission was a test,, so next will have better communication band to send data faster.
@@friendlyatheist9589If it was not dark side of moon then the rover and lander could use solar energy which would give more time.. because life of 14 moon days, research data is priority rather than wasting time on sending picture and video data..FYI...To send pics and videos the communication band takes a long time to process, which needs to be upgraded to higher band width. After this success,it for sure will be upgraded.
So for better understanding and comparison, 74 million dollars would be typically used in India to make a 6km long railway track, or a 2 km long elevated metro line in a city.
India is 200 years behind ...All Indians working very hard to bring tht gap lesser... We want our country like wat it was in 1600 th century with democracy...
As much as I respect and admire Neil, his perception of India's diversity is heavily influenced by misinformation spread through American media. For a renowned scientist, he did little to no research on the subject before bringing it up!
What Islam had in it's golden period was stolen from multiple invasion of Indian subcontinent and translated to Arabic, stolen from Institute And University like Nalanda Takshila , Kerala school , etc through trade with Arab People Like APJ Abdul Kalam were Dharmic hindu by mindset ... Go See in detail
at the end of the day, no matter where you are from, we are all from earth, and hence we must all collaborate in different endeavors so that the stuff we see in sci-fi movies/novels, can be made reality as much as realistically possible and we can make progress in every field making everybody's life better.
75 million usd is a lot of money in India yes. But not comparable to what American space missions cost even adjusting for PPP. Some of big budget Indian movies have had a budget close to that number.
74 million dollars is nothing for india because every year we spend 1 billion than more dollars just for cleaning trains every year ..and some indian movie more cost than this mission ..😊

It only selects based on Caliber
So m wondering who told Mr Tyson that Muslims are excluded from indian space program 😂
(I guess , hez affected by the political propaganda as well)
It’s totally based on caliber and Interest..
Seriously, why do they want to equate things that happened there with the things happening in India. I'm really happy that NASA and America have reformed from their earlier mindset but those realities don't exist in India.
Just stop with the oppression Olympics especially when the lived realities are so different from the narratives.
Enough already. This is a time of great pride for India and Indians. And that's the all that's required to be said.
political propaganda ?? there is caste reservation in ISRO ,, you are affected by political propaganda not him ,,
@@amanlodha6260 ISRO is a govt org.. thus every govt org in india ,we have Reservation quota in order to empower some castes in order to uplift them in our society .. how is that a negative thing???
@@biswanathmahapatra8441 Agreed, my point was not about reservation (it's positive discrimination which is required). My point was about Neil deGrasse Tyson talking about black discrimination in the same breath talking about Muslim's not allowed in ISRO
@@biswanathmahapatra8441 let le also be clear, even though reservations are justified, we all can agree that it has been abused to great extents in India.
That fact that it is required but the way it's implemented is not how it really benefits whom it should be a conversation we should have.
But again, this was not my point when I made the original comment
India is also about to launch Aditya L1 on September 2nd for study of Sun. Also ISRO chief name means the Lord Of The Moon !! ❤
16:07 I never heard about science in Islamic history without Indian influence
Lander name is Vikram, on the father of ISRO Vikram Sarabhai, you saw his story in Rocketry boys
Fun fact: there were many "muslim" engineers involved in chandrayaan project and ISRO as a whole...
Scientists don't have time for "diversity" "gender" nonsense in their community... when you're in ISRO, you are either the best mind in the country or you're out. That's it... none of that religion race gender idiotic nonsensical conversation matters.... they're too busy researching and inventing stuff.
I don't know where the diversity topic came from, one of our greatest pioneers of space program was APJ Abdul Kalam, a minority!

So it was not about context it is about there views how should country work
America is biggest donator to human right (i know how they destroy society but I taking about contribution) so they paid for this idea so they have right to present their view
@@bld-cd6xb when they talk about representation it means make face to every other society so that people can inspire
Just how American African astronaut became face of African child so they can inspire from him and work toward to become like them
So they make representation form each society like black hispanic women and other
So that other can inspire it was not about just form one we don't only one apj abdul kalam we need many
Problem is that every people can't come on top with competition so they want make them face to make people inspire
@@ralphyyy8679 why the hell do one needs to look at scientists from their religious perspective? Why muslim kids need too look at Dr Abdul Kalam and not other scientists? One can get inspired form any scientists, this system of diversity will not select person based on his/her capabilities but rather on relegion/caste/gender etc. In simple words- I don't want an Indian Superman to be inspired, I can take my inspirations from Clark Kent too
Guys I want to correct something.......74 million dollar is actually very cheap budget in India.........out Bollywood movie r also expensive than ISROs one mission budget...like Aditpurush budget is 88 million dollars 😅
Isro and Ashoka Logo imprinted in rear wheels of rover 🇮🇳🙏
I can't express how much peace I get when I see jaby and achara together on screen
I can justify the cost. How cost effective was CHANDRAYAAN 3. See, the recent bollywood movie Adipurush budget was 700 crores Indian rupees, where, CHANDRAYAAN 3's total cost was 600 crores only. 100 crores less. So, it was very cost effective even when we considered it in terms of Indian economy.
The pic was deleted because those pics were to be given to PM as a gift, when he visited the facility.. so to avoid the public circulation might one reason
Second point is that the pic was shared by two handles .. one handle deleted the pic whereas the second didn't delete the pic..
The first astronaut 1400 years ago went to space sitting on a Donkey and split it into 2 pieces.
Congratulations all Indians for this amazing achievement I space science 👏👏👏👏Jai Hind🙏🇮🇳
For all the good in the interview with Dr. Neil deGrasse Tyson, I would have really appreciated him not equating the civil rights movement and black oppression in America to anything that's happening between the Hindu and Muslim community from India.
The history and realities are so different between the 2 countries and civilizations I would really appreciate people keeping such opinions to themselves, as they are as ill-informed as it gets.
Muslims face plenty of discriminations in India and face plenty of persecution like lynching
This guy makes good jokes achara should invite him more often
😂😂

The last two tyres have the stamp imprint of the logos engraved on them, not all the tyre, coz last two tyres marks cant be erased as they are the last.

Exactly!!
You're gonna tell me there isn't? Two days ago a video surfaced how a teacher was making kids slap a Muslim kid. We see a lot of incidents like that. Even Muslims getting beat up or even the video of a 14 yo kid who was beat up coz he didn't chant Jai shree ram.

One of the brightest names in Indian Space is A.P.J.Abdul Kalam who also went onto become the President of our country..... So, India hardly needs lessons on diversity & including people from all groups of society.
Science is not a field to represent each faith. It is about bringibg best minds to do a thing.
2:48 - In the official video on ISRO’s website, the emblem and logo of the space agency are shown to be on different wheels, contradicting the viral image where both are embossed on the same wheel. Thats just an artist’s adaptation.
@Avsingh7875 nope
I would like to point out that the so called islamic golden age of science was just a reminence of the knowledge they gained through trade with Ancient India. They just passed it to europe and thats why the western world thibks it's theirs. But if you even notice the numberic sustem used today was for very long thought to be arabic but we now know there are texts thousands of years prior in India with the numeric system we use today
Isl@m has a great contribution in describing earth flat😂😂😂😂😂
space missions are yours missions
space missions are India's tradition 👑👑👑
The boy in the left cannot stop laughing at background music who can blame him 😂
About inclusiveness India has no policy of discrimination on the basis of religious beliefs anywhere .
3:05 its not a real photo, It was made using AI, but the tyres do have the prints of isro and indian emblem on them.

Neil deGrasse Tyson in boss mode. Love his honesty.
Yes PPP in India is around 5 to 10 times more but in the field of engineering where we have to import alot of technology it's actually expensive
Cy 3 is a tribute to an average of 45 ISRO scientists who died mysteriously every year.
What they all miss is Muslims in India are not another ethnicity. So, bringing parallel to the US demography like he does is not true
Your right jaby, as per PPP 1 $. = 23 to 28 Indian rupees and the actual trading value is around 84 to 87.
This new guy is really awesome and gives a very natural reaction.😂😂
Man Power cost more in the US where as Indian scientists dont get paid a lot. ISRO also chose to work on alternatives routes of accomplishing sub missions which could have cost cutting.
nice shirt jaby..😍
There are many questions now about Armstrong's landing on moon bcoz if you watch the suit which was worn during moon landing which is in a museum its footprints is totally different from the picture of footprints which was taken by Armstrong on moon
The purchaing parity doesn't apply at that level Jabs. It's not like groceries to compare. Cause the cost is for the the Rockets and the fuel and it is equivalent to the US cost
The cost actually depends a lot on labour I think, raw materials comes secondary
Hell even a normal doctors appointment in the US costs 10 times more compared to India
Its not about purchasing power or some dumb logic, everything in the US is outrageously costlier
Btw ISRO is going to launch Aditya L1 on 2nd sept and it will be live on ISRO channel.. the first Mission of ISRO to the sun
Dont know why people don't take jokes about Russia, the guy had to clarify😂
Tessy Tomas is known as Missile woman of India who is Christian and Former President Dr Abdul Kalam has was a airospaces scientist.

The embossing is only on the rear wheels, else the emboss would be ruined if it was on the front wheels and rear wheels went over them.
What Islam had in it's golden period was stolen from multiple invasion of Indian subcontinent and translated to Arabic, stolen from Institute And University like Nalanda Takshila , Kerala school , etc through trade with Arab

It is already said it is 74M (DOLLAR $) to avoid the confusion of different metrics of the economy.
