Hi Alex - Nice work. An additional suggestion is to twist the wire for each conductor and then bend them into place - after that you "tin" each conductor with a little solder (i.e. apply a bit to each wire to make it solid before going to the connector). You can then clip the end of the conductors to length if necessary. This will make it much faster to solder the conductor to each tab when applying the conductors. It avoids excessively heating them and limits the possibilities for cold solder joints. You can even pre-apply solder to the connector tab and then just heat it and apply the conductor to the top once liquid without going through the holes.
Thanks for the vid - bought the same cables and connectors from your links. Tip for you: if you tin the wire and the connector tabs (make sure you leave the hole in the tab), and you heat the joint rather than the solder, it'll take longer and require more care but you'll end up with a stronger, more reliable connection.
Just a heads up for anyone who doesn’t want to solder, the newish Boss cables and even smaller and save even more space 👍🏻. Great work though, love the content 🤘🏻
Should be easy enough! Take a TRS connect and two TS connectors. Cut two cables. The ground from both will be soldered to the sleeve. Left TS tip to TRS tip, Right TS tip to TRS ring. If you strip both cables down , the cores should should be able to fit together through the TRS connector inlet.

Tin your wires folks…
Makes all the difference. ✌🏼

Great video Alex! Thanks for linking all the parts, huge time saver!
Of course! Glad it was helpful Dom

EBS flats are a great choice as well - amzn.to/3rN6gzy
Been using these for 5+ years and only ever had one of them break.
@@AlexPriceMusician I was looking at those too 👍🏻
Good video young man !
Pro tip : always always “tin” (pre-solder) your wires b4 soldering to your connections…
I did that the first few but I found I was saving time just heating up the wires and the connectors at the same time. Haven’t had one fail yet!
What about soldering TRS - 2x TS? I need one for HX Stomp to use double FX loop. Thanks for motivation to finally do this!
