Glad to know a habit I used VERY early when I started going to the gym has more benefits than I realized! What I used to do after workouts is to go to the swimming pool for t minutes as a cooldown. Then, I’d got the hot tub because it felt good. Later on, I found I need to dip in the pool again because it was hard to sleep after jumping straight out of the hot tub, so I take a lap in the pool. Now to realize this had been a form of hot-cold therapy all along AND a fasting enhancer is great to realize!
To help with glycemic control to reduce the glucose spike you can drink the apple cider vinegar, before your meals or after them to reduce your glucose spike I recommend rewatching this 7:24 it explains how Apple cider vinegar stops the production of fat. i did omad for extended periots of time and im of and on keto several times and i am a really bad habit keeper bc of emotional eating ... im was at 202 pounds again after a 8 week feast ... now im at 180 pounds again within 4 weeks ... i did several 72 hours fasts and 48 hours fasts and did omad in between with high protein low carb

So my new morning routine: Black coffee 20 mins sauna 30 min incline walk on treadmill at 2.5-3mph Then liter of ACV water. Looking forward to trying this out, day 1 went without a hitch! Felt great.

Holly Cow! Following your instructions, taking long 90 minutes walk to complete my 20 hours fast, after 2 months I GAINED 7 pounds to reach my goal to normal BMI 19(from 103 to almost 110). It's muscles gain!!!! All clothes fit perfectly the same, no change, except I noticed growth in legs, buttocks, toner arms and defined shoulders with smaller waist. Just got membership for sauna. This 16:8 thing is a bullshit. I eat between 20:00 and 21:00 every day except sunday. Sundays I dont eat anything. The only day I am fasting is on sunday. The monday saturday is just an exercise to teach the body to adjust to a regime of feeding, is not fasting. 3 years now with few exceptions and I have a serious heart condition. I run the 100 meters in 13 seconds this day my doctor tought I would be already gone. Give it a go a week and I guarantee you will understand that eating is a burden. Believe me most inner days I dont even want to eat. A couple of tips. Every time you want to eat you drink one glass of water and wait for 15 minutes and if you still want to eat do so. Whatever you eat chew very throughly. This one in fact is the most importanty imho. This teaches you to eat less. Whatever you eat avoid sugar, including flour and derivatives. The sugar is a poison.
In the Rio Grande valley we have a free sauna ...its just going outside...oh also my car ...it was 119 ...no wonder Im getting great abs...Ive been gardening along with omad and carnivore

Great info! I I think this is the best channel for this kind of info, always backed up with experience, trial and medical research. The only thing I would suggest Thomas to clarify to people is what type of coffee to consume. Everyone is always talking about the benefits of coffee, however, soluble store bought coffee has sugar in it and it's not on the label and I have yet to see that someone clarifies this for their subscribers. Best bet is to buy coffee grains and ground them or buy grounded coffee that isn't roasted with sugar (because cheap grounded machine coffee tends to have sugar in the roasting process as well)
Dear Thomas, I have to agree with all of them BUT... I would ADD an extra... STAY AWAY FROM ALCOHOL. Recently I have discovered that something strange was going on... I have gained some extra weight even thou my diet is the same, I'm also fasting and I ran 102km in June... so not bad at all... The thing is I was having a glass of wine with my gf atleast once or twice a week. Sometimes even I had a beer... not 10 beers or even 5... just one... Two weeks ago I've decided to drop alcohol and suddenly I'm in my good weight... Even some alcohol can block you from burning fat and the question is... is it worth it? Stay safe mate, Best wishes!

Good question, gotta maintain muscle strength. He’s obviously not losing muscle. 😊 But for us non-gym low-intense movers, I’m 55, walking daily (incl intermittent speed walks), using light weights & core strength exercises.
