Cheers mate. Yup, hopefully the vid helps. I try to be as honest as I can in the places I ride. Have a great time mate and let me know what you think 👌
Brilliant Ross! I'm still working pretty hard, trying to make the edits a little different from the norm. Feedback like this is awesome. Makes the hard work seem more than worth it. Hope you are good dude.
As always your vids are the tops and best out there. Love watching them all. I did your Gypsy Glen - Glensax trail not so long ago and absolutely loved it. Look forward to more drone footage to compliment your excellent adventures. Cheers. Stoozer. 🤠
Cheers bud! Loved that you hit up Gypsy Glen. It's a fan favourite for me. Thanks as always for the kind comments also. I'm still trying to Di the best edits possible, hoping one day they will get out there to an even wider audience. Cheers as always for the support mate. Hope you are good!
@@streetpigeonmtb I'm great. Recovered from my bad accident and back out there. Really enjoyed watching your adventure with Neil at learnie red rock. 😁
Great vid Jamie! trails look brilliant, never riden there but they reminded me of Laggan brown trails. Look forward to the next one and some drone footage when the wind is not as strong.
Cheers man. I'll go back there for sure. I missed a few cracking trails as well. Can't wait to get some vlogs with the drone. Not too far away I hope 🤞🤞🤞
Great vlog Jamie. Some of those sections would be spectacular in the wet!! Looking forward to your Inverness adventure... I'm in the Cairngorms next month, please let the weather be good!! 👍👍
Cheers bud! The next one is on the editing table! Sorry it's taken so long mate. I've been mega busy but hoping to put plenty time into our edit - it was a blinding day after all!
Another place I’ve explored too, some great stuff but not fun in the wet ( or pishing it doon to be correct ) can’t wait for my ankle to get fixed to get back out on the trails
I live in Aviemore and ride highburnside all the time! Love the trails but some of them are needing some TLC at the moment. Lots of people riding them and no work being done to repair them. Other than the repairs on the climb of course. I’ve been building 2 trails up there with my mates that are super good shame you missed them out. However they are not on Trailforks so not suprised. Nice vid!
Nice one mate. A lot of trails are struggling with traffic these days. Would've been cool to have found those trails and ridden (not filmed) them. Keep up the good work mate. Looking forward to riding up that way again.
"sorry about the pace folks, but I'm quite keen on survival" 🤣👍🤘😛😎😉🥇 (always go at the pace you're comfortable with!) Jamie, this was a crackin' video mate. Loved the subtle drone footage blended in at appropriate moments. superb work. Thanks for bringing us another great trail video, of super trails in great conditions.
Thanks Ricardo! I really appreciate that feedback mate. There are so many vlog videos out there and it can be difficult to try and keep the edits fresh and/or interesting. I can't wait to share the next few edits with you!
Cheers Darren. Some of the worst Go Pro flattening I've seen! Never mind. Despite the trails looking flat it was awesome. Looking forward to showing you some of my favourite trails when you are over 👍
Oh dear me! I'm such a muppet. On holiday at the moment and WiFi is sparse. You have a similar logo to Trail Tracker and I totally skimmed the logo and mistook you for Darren! Apologies my man. School boy error for sure!!!
Very timely as I am up that way from next weekend for a week and these ones are always on the must do list. How are the dreaded midgees this year? Interested to see where you go near Inverness as not ridden up around there before. So much choice, so little time!
Tell me about it! When we were there the midges were non existent... Who knows now though! Maybe the dry summer will be helping. They love a bit of rain. Hope you manage to ride some of these trails next week. There are a few we missed that are meant to be even better 👍
No strava route?! Gutted. Was literally here this weekend but sadly not with a group keen to do anything more tricky than the Loch Morlich loop - New Santa Cruz Megatower is defos too much bike for that xD Nice vid my guy, been watching for a while and enjoyed your "Above average" riding. I feel like you are a good benchmark for many of us average joes.
Thanks bud! If you head to my Strava I defo put it on there. Totally forgot to put the link in the description. Sorry dude! New bike sounds the biz - and very capable. It would be right at home on those trails. Cheers for commenting mate. Appreciate the kind words 😁
@@streetpigeonmtb thanks buddy, was going to look there shortly to see what you guys went and did. Will say hey if I ever catch you out and about - keep up the good work!
Hey bud. My advice is make stuff you enjoy doing, try and make your titles a wee bit catchy, also focus on thumbnails. Unfortunately you've started at a tricky time. It's so challenging to get views and subs these days. If you focus on content you love you won't mind if the views are rubbish and it'll be an added bonus when the views are good 👌 Enjoy!
Hopefully. If you head to my Strava the route is there. Hopefully that has the trail names on it. Good luck. Hope you have a good time. Let me know how you get on 👍
@@streetpigeonmtb I've got a shortlist of 3, Transition Sentinel, Ibis Ripmo and Santa Cruz Bronson. However the new Aeris 9 looks tasty and they've just added Formula to their choices of spec so I'd throw that in to now!
@@streetpigeonmtb Awesome, I’ve had a ride on my mates AM9 and I can’t fault it to be honest. I saw the sneak pics of the purple frame and it just looks ace.
Yeah. I may be biased - saying that I owned a Bird before we did any collaborations... But from day 1 I've just thought they were awesome bikes. The AM9 was the game changer IMO and since then they just have the geometry and cost so sorted. I can't wait to get on this new one TBF. Looks like the AM9 but is so different. Let me know when you get your new rig!
Wow, GREAT trails, and cool vid Jamie. Nice seeing Rob riding too! 🙂 Btw, are you sure this is in Scotland, looking at the weather? 😜 also some of the techy rocky parts were kinda reminiscent of Ainsa
Ha ha. It was definitely Scotland Jay. The Cairngorms and surrounding area look so different in the summer. Undoubtedly some of the most picturesque trails I've ridden since Spain! How are you? Getting plenty riding in I hope!
@@streetpigeonmtb yeah just kidding, I know the weather can be nice in Scotland. On like 3 days 😜 I am good, however I injured my shoulder at the beginning of May and I am still very much in recovery. Fingers crossed will start riding MTB again in August... 👍👍 need to be fit by end of October for High Pyrenees! Thanks for asking, hope you are fine too and as I can see you are getting in plenty of great riding. Always a treat watching your vids 🙂
@@streetpigeonmtb thanks mate! Slowly getting better... Yeah I have some footage, it wasnt very spectacular though, just a stupid way of falling... maybe i'll upload it to the channel at some point, will see

Nice dude! Other venue to add to the summer tour haha!
Oh definitely mate. Get there!
Love highburnside. Glad you like it. Yes the climbs are emotional. Fab video. Can’t wait to get back
For sure! Emotional is a good term for the climbs. What a place. I need to get back there as we missed some awesome wee trails!
@@streetpigeonmtb enjoy. Definitely do Nazi gold 👍
Indeed! Gutted to have missed that one. Rob is a great guy but a terrible navigator. I should've sacked him mid ride 🤣
@@streetpigeonmtb 🤣🤣🤣🤣. Still you did some goos trails
We did. He's hired again... temporarily until review! 🤣
Great video thanks, going there soon with the bike so good to see this as a bit of a heads up of what to expect and inspiration on where to go

Glad to here that mate. It's tough when you can't get on the bike. My Learnie vid should be out in a few weeks and I feel like it's a good one 👍
Been there a few times, unbelievably good trails always a great time no matter the conditions or how many times you have been
