Thank you BB, I’m going to buy some candle wax from you; I don’t need the kit
Love how London always explains things. And love the brambleberry colored flakes.
I like how humour she speaks sometimes 😂😂. Absolutely love her video. So soothing when she speaks. Feel like I can listen more of her talking 😍

So much fun! I used Frosted Fir in a candle I made last week. I used a wooden wick and it was fabulous! Thank you for the videos. I love them and look forward to each new one.

I made Frankincense and Myrrh and Sweet Orange beeswax wax melts. They smell wonderful!!!
That sounds fantastic!
I actually learned a couple things from this that will help me on my average candles too. For instance using a paper towel to test the dye. Thank you!
London is back!!!! I love her
I have made a couple easier Brambleberry candle kits...I think I'm going to give this a whirl. Lovely project and a GREAT confidence building video! Thanks!
the color looks great.

Niceeeee 😲😲
What a great gift!
@@bramble-berry Thank you!
@@bramble-berry can you make a follow up video explaining the math breakdown of how you came up with the 70% soy, 30% coconut ( 9oz GB 464 soy and 3.9 oz coconut, and 1.2 FO? I need help with figuring out how to mix different waxes
So cool! 🌲🕯
Love London! Thank you BB❤️ I am a die hard BB shopper!
Thanxs for the good explaining!
You are a goddess of soap and candle making! 💝

Great video and message!
Hello,I enjoyed watching you do your candles
EXCELLENT 👍💯, thanks!!!
Am a big fan of your Ma'am, i learn everything from you.. superb 😘😘😘😘😘 love from India
great video thank you
Very nice gorgeous
You are so good to explain the only thing that would be appreciated is to give us the diameter of your jars and which wick do you use would be helpful
Ecosoya Soy wax CB135 is the best for adhesion to Any container, no bubbles, no tunneling,
I also add 1 Tablespoon Beeswax per 250g Soy wax it enhances the Hot & Cold throw + Colour and you can add up to 15% Fragrance.
I use it for Massage Candles, Various Body Balms, Soy wax Melts.
J'aime ❤
Great video!!! I will try it💯💯
I have a question , can i use paraffin wax instead of soy and coconut wax with this technique?
Thank you!
What is the shelf life of a finished soy candle? Do they degrade over time if stored in a dark room at room temperature? Thanks for the video!!
Hi🤗I wanted to ask if you will be restocking the soap beginners set before christmas as i want to put it on my wishlist😆
Are you looking for this kit? If so, we still have some kits available: www.brambleberry.com/in-the-studio/projects/cold-process/simple-and-gentle-soap-project/PS000211.html
What size eco wick would I use for a 9 inch soy wax candle?
How much was the pouring temperature of the third layer?
I pre heat my vessels so my first layer is lovely i get no wet spots but my second and top layer i try to heat the vessel with heat gun but still get lots of wet spots. I use parafin wax i have tried to pour at a lower temp too. Any other recommendations
Hi i watched the whole ting even though i couldn't but i did and u said the candles should cure for 48 hours so do you leave them open or cover the lid of the candles? i cover the lid the next day.. it that wrong?
Hi, love your video! I think I missed this but did you add fragrance for each layer or just in the first?
Each layer
how can I add an emblem inside a candle i'm pouring? is it possible?
Does this same technique apply to beeswax candles?
Im hoping you find this message after so long but do you add same amount of fragrance oil to each layer of wax?
how can I make a wavy appearance with 3 colors?
Thank you so much for another great video, I have a question- somewhere I read that you support sock the wooden wicks in olive oil before using them to achieve proper burning. I have some that would like to use specially during this time due to the cracking sound
Thank you so much ahead of time
You do not need to soak our wood wicks, they'll get the crackling sound you're looking for naturally!
@@bramble-berry thank you
Thanks god you get it , I just noticed the typo thanks again , so they will burn well without doing anything just placing them inside the jar, correct?
@@cliviascreations Absolutely! Just be sure to trim your wick properly!
@@bramble-berry yay thank you so much
If i.use 1wood wick the flame is small
.unlike you make 2wood.wick?
I poured my first good candles today, the tops were a bit discoloured so I used a heat gun to melt the tops then I added some glitter, we love them, I've posted on facebook but I couldn't find out how to tag you :(
EXCELLENT TEACHING VIDEO!! i like how 'precis-ish' she is and - i don't like math too! :P
Do you have a supplier in New Zealand?
What did you do with the extra wax, not used.
The unused wax is saved for future projects!
I love your videos and how do I get in touch with Bramble berry to order some supplies I did call but call kept getting disconnected I'm trying to order the golden wax 464 along with some other supplies
You can purchase all of our supplies on brambleberry.com!
Golden Wax 464: www.brambleberry.com/shop-by-product/ingredients/waxes/golden-wax-464/V001178.html
The only thing I would strongly recommend is ALWAYS secure your wicks folks!! Wicks tend to slide off to the side. You do not want your jars burning the sides or cracking the glass. She said you dont have to secure the wicks in this project, wrong advice and bad advice. 20 plus years candle maker. Secure those wicks people!!
I thought the same thing!
What is at the bottom of the wooden wicks you inserted into the wax
They have a metal clip to help keep them upright in your candles.
Hi do you guys ship to Turkey? I want to buy these dye flakes.
We do! We recommend reading our International Shipping Policies before ordering: www.brambleberry.com/international-shipping-policies.html
Can i do the same using white bees wax ?
Yes, absolutely!
Please can i ask if making ombre candles and using 0.50z for my 8 or 9% fragrance load. Do i add 0.5oz of FO to each layer of wax or if say im making 3 layer candle i divide 0.5 by 3 ? So im adding 0.1 FO to each layer?
Split the fragrance between all your layers, otherwise it can be too much fragrance in your candle.
@@bramble-berry thank you so much
What temperature did you pour the last layer.
Right around 150° F works great for new layers.
Did you only add fragrance to the very first (bottom) layer?
Don't worry, we added fragrance to every layer!
@@bramble-berry ok. Thanks. I must have missed that. What is the ratio per layer then? My math sucks 😆
@@living4him319 The fragrance should be split evenly between layers!
@@living4him319 I believe she did .5 ozs on the first.
Sorry if I missed it, but you put fragrance in each level didn't you?
Someone else mentioned this as i also wanted to know, she split the total amount of FO between each layer. Hope this helps
I'm having trouble with my jars maybe someone has some advise? I can make a perfect soy candle in a tin jar but when it comes to my amber jars they always come out with crevice' and holes....I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong but it's frustrating lol
Hi, it sounds like you might have either too wide of a container or too small of a wick. Have you seen our tips and tricks video with London?
If not, here's a link: ruclips.net/video/cn528L_WPrw/видео.html
@@bramble-berry thats the video that i learned how to make candles...it's when the wax is cooling...it looks fine before it cools but then it sets with holes...I read that heating the jar could help with some things? I'm not sure if that will help the issue though....
@@kimberleefraser656 you can go over with a heat gun or if you have some left over wax you can add it to fill in the hole depending on how deep the holes are
Thank you....I posted a really bad explanation so thank you for your help.😅 I guess candles are just a lot of trial and error until you get the right technique for you so I'm going to keep trying lol😁
19:20 i would measure in in the container pinch it with the tip ov my fingers to mark my measure and cut it underneath wear i pinched the right measurement so that i can just plop it in there without using nail clippers or speaciy scissors
well take it out ov coures and then cut it
That's a great method! Our only warning with it is make extra sure you know how high you'll be pouring so you don't end up with a wick that's too short.
@@bramble-berry yeah and or like beside the wick instead ov on it
Can one use crayons?
Omg math is not my subject lol. How did you get 9oz soy and 3.9 oz coconut? I know yu said 70 soy and 30 coconut. Is there a tutorial to help with the math?
