Awesome! I've started singing again too. After 20 years of unrelenting depression, I can finally listen to, and hear, music again. What a blessing! It keeps me moving forward. That is so important. Because I ain't never going back to that hole...(My illness.) For anyone out there who is struggling: don't give up before the miracle happens. But if you must go, I understand. A person can only take so much.
Hurt never goes away, we just dull it with filling ourselves with distractions- I am currently trying to distract myself- but the hurt is always pushing up- many of us are the same,
This song as of now is my anthem. 35 years ago I let him go then let him back in only to let him go again. God it hurts . I always loved this song then today I heard it and realized how much it sounded like what I was going through. I’ll never get over him .
