Totally understand the conversation around confronting abandonment issues in your relationships. We share a possibly similar experience around people leaving or not being present in our lives for what ever reason. I def have held on or hold on to people too long (I like to think I’ve recovered from such lol). All that to say thank you for your vulnerability and you’re not alone.

If you visit Paris again try the Hotel Beige in the 9th area. I have the same issues with old hotels, so it took a while to find this one. The exterior has the Parisian architecture, but the inside of the boutique hotel is more contemporary it was renovated recently.

I stayed at Nobu Shoreditch and loved that location. Definitely gotta do London and Amsterdam if you go back.
