Just got one myself , only used it a few times so far but I absolutely love it !! Best part is i didnt lose space in the garage. I can still park my truck over it and theres no posts to worry about door slamming into. I was hesitant with it being from HF but it is seriously built , no thin metals or cheap looking welds. Would highly recommend it to anyone.
The HF lift is much better than laying on your back, jack stands, ... But, I am a little guy 5'8" and the top of my head is always banged up. Too bad this lift does not give another 6" of lift. On the downside, I replaced the momentary switch after about 12 hours of use and now it has failed again. The original switch is labeled as being 25A - 220V. Good luck finding one, I have searched and have not been able to find one. For the past month I plug the lift in when I want to raise a vehicle.
I know you like it, but how do you find the "stooping" to work under it? It looks nice for a lot of work like you were describing, but that stooping would kill me.
It's a great lift. Unfortunately, the price has gone up considerably, and coupons can no longer be applied. Actually, every time an online coupon comes up on HF, this lift is suddenly unavailable! Very frustrating. But in the long run, it's still less money then the comparable ones offered by the other manufacturers.
Great video , I have just over 8 foot ceilings will this lift work ok with that height. The two boards you use for clearance can they remain there all the time and are you always having to reposition them with each smaller vehicle. Could I compensate for this buy using more boards or 2by 12v,s instead ,my garage has to be cemented yet could I recess the floor to accommodate the lift eliminating the height problem .Any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated Thanks Dale
The hydraulic cylinders lock the lift. Actually the return valve that keeps the hydraulic fluid from leaving the cylinders lock the lift. Should the hydraulic system fail, the latch is supposed to keep the lift, and vehicle, from dropping. Which it does.

Awsome detail video, love the the extra stand for safery
It's harbor freight yes but it's made in the same factory as the rest! Bendpac, titan etc.
I like the fact you talk about safety.
I'm glad you said that it needs 220
Make sure you put the jack stands under hard points, not just sheet metal, such as the trunk floor or floor pans.

Dont work on your car if you cant figure out such simple questions
Maybe you should hire a professional
“Plenty of time to roll out” 😂🤦♂️
I ordered the maxjax , but if I find a used unit like yours I will pick it up ..can you tell me the height of your ceiling ?
where did you get the tall jack stands
What hand truck do you use to move it?
The pump is designed to be used as a “hand truck” to move it
Harbor Freight NO LONGER carries or sells this type of lift as of today 10/20/2021
They’re back on their website. Just FYI
You need new rotors. I really want to get one.
What is it that actually locks the lift? It can’t just be that silver tab can it?

B E yes the same as any other lift!
Pity he doesn't know about Kleenex tissues rather than sniffing all the time - too annoying to continue with his snotty nose
How long is the cords and hydraulic hose?
