The storm didn't ruin the ASMR. It added to it in a good way. Not annoying and added to the perfect cozy fall book vibes you were going for.

That's good to hear because I do sometimes worry I say too much but I always want to know a decent amount going into a book. Just enough so as to not be spoilers is what I hope for :)

Thank you for this!! It was lovely. I really enjoyed you talking us round the bookshops. So relaxing and cosy to live vicariously through you. I'd love to visit Wigtown. I also discovered that I enjoy little journey's with narrative in asmr format, so that's a new one for me. Your entire channel is so cosy and warm. I also feel like it was just you and I chatting about books, curled up in comfy chairs with a cup of tea. So thank you. Its comforting to be made to feel less alone and to find a Kindred spirit to listen to. You should definitely have many more subscribers than you do. But I'm just happy I've joined this little corner of asmr/booktube. A hidden gem, like finding a new favourite book shop 😊

Thank you for such a lovely and kind comment, you have really made my day :) it is definitely my intention to have a cosy chat with a cup of tea so I'm glad that comes through. I enjoy doing the voice overs so will try to do some more for sure! I have a couple in mind for places I am heading to soon. It's lovely to find a kindred spirit and I'm so happy you are enjoying the book videos :) thank you again for commenting 😊

That was lovely. Wigtown would be my dream! I think Hay on Wye is also a book place. A Thousand Splendid Suns is a book that made me cry. It is brilliant and heart wrenching.
A good Gothic read in the upcoming season would be The Historian by Elizabeth Kostova. You may well already have read it.

I am going to Hay on Wye soon, I'm very excited!! Will be sure to make another vlog 😁 I think a thousand splendid suns will be emotional but totally worth it, im looking forward to trying it. And no I haven't heard of the historian so thank you for the suggestion!! And thanks for a lovely comment :)

Oh I just love this video so much! I live in Australia but have family in Scotland. I have dreamed of travelling to the little towns of Scotland for the longest time, so seeing and hearing about the little bookstores made me smile. And your little dog is so cute! A certified book pup. Also the sounds of the wind and storm were so calming!! Happy fall🍂🍄

Aw thank you, he is quite the cutie and was a very good bookshop pup in those that would allow him in 😊 I hope you get to come visit Scotland some time, it really is so beautiful. I'm really glad you enjoyed the video and the stormy sounds!

This film is one of my favorites to go back to! I have watched it so many times!! The storm makes it even more cozy and the voiceover in the clips are super-relaxing. :) I borrowed the Ray Bradbury book in october, and I have 50 pages left, but I am so confused!! I think I gonna try again next year. Have you read it yet?

I'm so glad the storm noises seemed to be enjoyed! Next time there's a storm I shall have to run for my camera 😅 I too wanted to read Ray Bradbury book in October and didn't get round to it as I got into my witchy books so decided to go with the flow and read those. Not good that it's confusing....I don't like to be lost in a book! Not when I'm not meant to be anyway 😅 thanks for a lovely comment too!

Oh, this was delightful. I love Scotland so much and now I want to go back to this bookish little town. I live in Minnesota and my library owns Proust’s Overcoat. The author of The English Patient says of it … “a rare and wonderfully written book of literary detection that is heartbreaking as it is thrilling.” You made a good choice, I think!
