Ohhh such a cute haul! I have never read Beatrix Potter or watched anything related to it but those books are adorable! And I absolutely love the artstyle! There’s something charming about watercolour pictures that you don’t really see a lot in kids books anymore. I have been wanting to read similar kids books like the Moomins and Winnie the Pooh
Yes I totally agree, they do feel nostalgic and i think it's because so much is computer generated now. Winnie the pooh is also a great one I would LOVE to own some of those books! Thank you for commenting 😊

What a delightful video! I’m currently doing a read through of The Wind And The Willows on my channel. This is the first time I’ve read it and am loving it! I feel the same about it in that it uses such big words and lyrical language that you may not see in children’s books today. I’d love to hear you read any of the Beatrix Potter tales! I’d also love to hear your review of the other 6 once you’ve read them. 💚
Wind in the Willows is my absolute favourites and my book is probably my favourite thing I own 😊😂 I will deffo check out our reading videos! Yes it's interesting how much kids books have changed to point of these feeling so naustalgic
This is a lovely video. Like you I love The Wind in the Willows. I particularly like the winter parts where Mole finds his home and the mice doing the Christmas carols.

What did you think of the plot in “You weren’t supposed to die tonight”? I really enjoyed the book and it’s slasher trope at the beginning and then there was the plot twist that kinda felt like the book took a weird turn towards a completely different trope and plot which made me like it a lot less.
I know what you mean about it feeling like a shift in trope, but honestly I really enjoyed it. I'm trying to be cryptic to avoid spoilers for anyone reading but I think the group in question were a very interesting and unexpected addition, and when I learnt that they are based on a group that used to actually exist I found it all the more enjoyable. Those last few chapters I ate up, I thought they were so intense. But if you preferred the first part of that book, the camp, the woods, the mystery, then I would recommend the book I just finished 'summer camp for slasher victims' as it stays in its trope and does it well and has a great ending (imo). The Blue Book of Nebo is absolutely stunning, you'll love it (if you've not already worked your way through it). And in my opinion it gets bonus points as it's a book in translation as the author originally wrote it in Welsh. Fab video as always :)
