Your hair looks lovely! It was the first thing I noticed. ❤ Spoilers are a guilty pleasure of mine. Sometimes I look up the ending of a book before I read it. It's awful. 😅 It's disappointing to hear there's negative reviews about the books going forward, but I agree it's worth checking out anyway. I definitely enjoy the premise of the story. It seems to have a couple tropes I enjoy. 😊

Aw thank you :) I'm trying to give it a break from straighteners and sometimes it dries ok and other times looks wild 😂 it's the luck of the draw! Hah my friend sometimes reads the last line of a book before she starts, so you're not alone lol. Yeah I do want to read the next, I've loved some books that have been badly reviewed so you never know!! ❤️ :)

I personally take away from the beast transformation that it sort of feels like an allegory for depression. Like the dulling of the senses, lack of sleep and eating, lack of self esteem/control, the fear of touching someone and thereby ruining them, feels so real to depression. This series has a lot of mental health issues undertones in a lot of ways.

Oh wow yes that's really interesting. I had a reflection that it could also be about the stages of grief, especially when I read the term Shiva is the 7 days of mourning. I think it has lots of layers and could perhaps be interpreted depending on what you need from it which is quite powerful. Thanks for sharing your thoughts :)
