    Haha, as a Spaniard it’s so awkward to see Audrey eating the sardines the way she does it 🤪What we do instead is to open them with the knife from head to tail and take out the spine which easily comes out, then you eat the sardine files without problem.

      Thanks, I love trying new food, even if I’m clueless about how to eat it. I will try that next time I eat sardines in Spain. -Audrey

      @@geezerandblonde Audrey, if you liked the sardines try (fresh) anchovies next time. If you guys are still in the area, there is a village on your way to Santiago called Bermeo where they allegedly have the best anchovies in the world. You can order "anchoas a la Bermeana" which consists of fresh anchovies "boiled" for 10 seconds in a clay pot of hot olive oil and then served like the sardines you had, they are delicious! Anyway, love your gastronomic pilgrimage, buen Camino!

    Tienen que aprender s comer sardinas 😂
    Se comen con las manos sin tenedor , si estás en una tasca o taberna.
    Si estas en el restaurant elegante con cuchillo de pescado y tenedor. Pregunten a los locales.
    Con las manos estan mas goods.😂😅

    buen camino wishes from germany and i have a question, why is the woman walking half naked - nu pun intended - and the man even wears a hood, is one warmblooded and the other not. nice video and i have seen some others of the del norte but they were not so in detail and i remember that this path uphill most of the time is wet.

    • @geezerandblonde
      @geezerandblonde  Год назад +1

      Haha! Yes, if given a choice Audrey would like to walk the Camino completely naked. But instead she compromises by wearing her stripper shorts on the trail. I wear the hood to protect my pasty white skin from the sun. We've met a ton of German pilgrims on the Camino so far and they're all great fun.
