Loved watching this and to see how a couple less than half our age was 10X less prepared and aware than we were when we did our first Camino. Thanks for the laughs!
Absolutely love the way you're describing your journey and hope parts 4 and 5 are coming soon. I watched this to prepare for my own hike that is coming up this weekend.
@@janeknochel3950 aww thanks so much! Have a great Camino! We hope you have lots of sun & don't get as lost like us. Lol 🌞 I'm finishing number four today and hoping to post tomorrow!
There is only ONE human on this planet I could do this with and it’s Collin! Mere, proud of you for holding it down despite the stress 😂 #stayonthecamino Love you two oh so much! ❣️
Agreed!!! I couldn't do this with anyone but Collin. He was so easy to travel with and the best partner when things go wrong 😂 Love you so much ❤️🫶 thanks for all your encouragement!!!
Us either 😂 even putting this video together I still don't understand where we went wrong those first few days haha. It did get easier to follow the further along we went!
The first few days were extremely deceptive! And we are still unsure. They had signs, and we had a map. And yet they never added up-and the distance were always off the first few days. Don’t worry, things sort them selves out. 😁
One of us packed efficiently, the other one needed lotions and potions 😂 I’ll let you guess which one. We also ended up smelling -but not due to lack of cloths! In an upcoming video we will put in a scene about packing up-thank you for the question!!
We did the first few days! But after that we stopped & found it was easier to just show up. That way you can be flexible if it rains or you want to go longer one day. We used booking.com a ton if the albergues were full 😊
Thank you so much for watching! We started in Bilbao. It was a beautiful city. The official route starts a bit further east , but as we got a later start than expected, we divided Bilbao was good enough. Have you done a Camino before?
Haha yes! It might seem crazy, but we love hiking/walking in these shoes. We've worn them for over 5 years now and can't recommend them enough. They're much easier to travel with and don't give us blisters 👍 Thanks for watching 💗

haha so glad you enjoyed our under preparedness...I promise if you watch the rest of the series we eventually figure it out ;) Buen Camino!!
Is there any information about the Camino del Norte that you want to know? Let us know here so we can include that in the rest of the series! 👍
More history of the Camino!
More history, coming right up! We will be sure to include more in the coming videos. 👍
