      @@TKCL I'm waiting patiently for you to have time to fabricate a fan, mount it in the side wall to suck the heat from the Blackstone and out a vent though the end wall-so all you have to do is flip a switch...I know it's going to slowly annoy you setting up the tiny fan that is working well for now LOL

    Highly recommend some type of hydrophobic sealer on the concrete prior to placing rubber mats. We seal pavers and the petroleum stains left by rubber mats is next to impossible to remove. 2 coats of Innovative Concrete Products water shield with stain guard will really help protect the patio. Pressure wash the area.. Pump up sprayer a heavy first coat then before it dries a mist coat. If the first coat dries out the second coat will be repelled. Best money you can spend to protect concrete hands down. You literally can't mess it up.

    A smart man knows what he doesn't know. I have been a home builder and remodeler for more years than I want to admit. I recently watched all of your videos and I finally found something that I would have done differently. The first corner you put on the outside does not cover all of the edge. My suggestion would be to recut the angle with a tail on the outside that meets the bottom of the horizontal edge. Other than that you have obviously done your research. You are doing an amazing job on this entire build.

    • @TKCL
      @TKCL  2 года назад

      What you didn't see was another cap I built to extend the horizontal trim, it can be seen at 35:30 in the video. It's a wooden piece painted black. These videos would be an hour long if I showed everything.

    Andrew, what an awesome finish to your outdoor kitchen. Looks very nice. Regarding GFI outlets vs a GFI breaker, I always personally prefer a breaker over an outlet as that allows for the entire circuit to be protected from the panel out, in case a nail or screw was to ever be driven into the cable or water intrusion was to happen upstream of the outlets. You have done some amazing work and y’all will have a wonderful outdoor area to enjoy for many years to come.

    You could countersink some neo magnets in your countertop to hold down the cover on the cook top... just a thought 🤔 could be a cool tinker project.

    Clark & Deborah:
    Andrew just thinking, you could build something next to the refrigerator to put your cook top covers a rack or wood shelf to slide the cover in when you are cooking. Just a thought. I'm sure you could make it look good.

    Outstanding build for anyone needing information for their project. More attention to detail than the majority of RUclips videos I review. Two questions. I believe you said your house was already regulated for propane. I thought I saw a regulator installed on stove. If so that should have over regulated your stove? Propane is a very heavy gas. please check with your gas co. I believe they will recommend venting panels also sold by vevor. Again outstanding build

    • @TKCL
      @TKCL  Год назад

      That stove is already set up for common household pressure. I'm not convinced that was a regulator and if it was it is required as the stove is working properly.
