  • * If you are a dentist and curious about the Glidewell.io system, I can share my honest personal experience with you. Shoot me an email: thetoothrestorator@gmail.com
    In this video, I show you how a back tooth dental crown procedure is performed, using our state-of-the-art technology.
    1. Broken molar tooth is restored with core buildup material
    2. The tooth is prepped.
    3. The tissue is treated with diode laser for improved scan and impressions (Laser Tissue Troughing).
    4. Digital impressions are taken (iTero Element intraoral scanner)
    5. The scan files are sent to software (FastDesign.io), and the crown is designed by the dentist with AI assistance.
    6. The crown is milled (BruxZir Now) and polished.
    7. The crown is cemented.
    Thank you.

    That’s pretty cool and makes me want to become a dentist. I am middle aged already, but if I knew anything in high school of what I wanted to be then I would’ve went to college but I still don’t really know what I truly want to do but being a dentist would be pretty cool, and I know they get paid bank because my Dentist drives a Porsche.

    If your tooth not in pain do you need a root canal before the crowns

    • @dakotahsimpson3591
      @dakotahsimpson3591 Месяц назад +1

      If there is any tiny micro piece of cavity it has to come before a crown cause if not it’s just gonna be under the crown and rot hidden causing much worse issue I had to a root canal only because my cavity where I got my crown was bad and to the root so I guess it depends if you just need a filling or a root canal but you can’t have the cavity still there

    • @jensz9360
      @jensz9360 4 дня назад +1

      @@lexlawson5908 Thats the issue, technology has improved but this has made many dentists lazy so their skill may not be up to par.
      Sounds like you had a great dentist though. So is the stainless steel giving you any issues at all or does it seem like it will need any new work in near future? 7-22 thats a long time.

      @@jensz9360 no problems at all! Everytime I go to the dentist they want me to switch it out for cosmetic purposes but I didn’t want to bc I am also afraid haha

    • @jensz9360
      @jensz9360 4 дня назад

      @@lexlawson5908 Yes that is the issue with dentists, if they see you have any previous dental work they will see that as a money opportunity and try to upsell you on different things to extract as much money as possible from you.
      This greed the dentists have now is part of the reason they are not to be trusted, because their greed overshadows their duty to do what is right by the patient and use minimally invasive as possible solutions.

    How bad can a tooth be before they pull it like for a surgical extraction or a root canal

    • @carolynwatkins8638
      @carolynwatkins8638 Год назад +1

      My tooth was dead I had sensitivity to cold and heat so they root canaled them but my insurance would not pay for the crowns even after all that. So in order to get a root canal there needs to be some kind of infection or decay or the tooth is dead.

    Hello there.
    My name is Lou,
    I have not been to a dentist for over fifteen years due to an incredibly bad experience and domestic abuse as Some of my teeth were knocked out.
    Unfortunately I know that I need all my teeth to be extracted and from then on gosh knows what! I have no idea where to start or what to do, I go to absolute pieces every time I think about it. I never venture out of my house unless I can help it and I always wear a face mask when I absolutely have to go out and about.
    Could you please possibly point me in the right direction?
    Thank you immensely for your time and kindness.
    Lou 🙏

      For the ones that are missing they can do implants or partial dentures or even dental bridges and the ones that are severely damaged such as chipping They can do crowns or a partial idk about insurance though some will not cover restorative dentistry so make sure you check that. I hope you find something that works I have an issue with my front teeth as a car accident seriously chipped them and the insurance basically screwed me over saying it was cosmetic even after the 2 root canals.

      First ensure the root canal treatment is implemented well i mean they fill the canals till the roots . Cuz if there is any infection or bacteria u re gonna redo the treatment + remove a cap if cemented . (( First do a scan for rc ))
