Andrea K is an Environmental Scientist with the Forestry Commission, "I spend quite a lot of time out in the field. I'm quite good at looking at plants in the woodlands and saying, 'This is that species and we've got so much of that species and that changes by so much over time'. My work involves doing experiments to help our foresters do better forestry." Highlights at icould.com/videos/andrea-k/?le...
I am majoring with a bachelors in environmental science with a minor in biology. Set to graduate next september. I am pretty stoked!! :)
Wayward Son how did that work out for you?
Worked out pretty well for me. But I am also one of those people who prefers jobs where you are outside a majority of your day versus being stuck in a office all day. There are plenty of jobs working in laboratories that you can get with this degree but also jobs in the park service, forestry, etc.
Did you have any problems finding a job after college? Starting college next month and I want to major in environmental science and I am thinking about minoring in either wildlife biology or water/soil science
Walter Whitfield ..hey sir my name is salman.. i am thinking to take admission in msc env scn. .. wht about job opportunities
How was it finding employment after college? I am between env science and geology, and afraid it would be harder finding a job with environmental science
Major in environmental science!
I know I'm quiet young 2nd year to be precise and is it just me or am I the only one in my class that sits there and listen I find it very interesting but kinda don't want to say to my friends 'ooh that was sooo interesting.' Instead I have to say 'psh what a boring class'
+mia armstrong That is what sets you apart. Not saying your friends won't be successful, but if you love what you do...success will come naturally. :)
thanks :)
BS in Environmental Science or BS in Environmental Science and Management
I thought that was a man at first.
