Again, again and again I’m telling myself I didn’t find no one else who can explain anything in Padel in so easy way to understand it as Tasty does. You are incredible guys thank you!
I like the conversion concept. My coach tells me to stand more in the corner and all balls that hit the 2nd side glass i should turn and hit as forehand. It feels wrong , do you agree or is that a different way to defend the corner ?
It works the same way, However, mainly you do this with overheads. Volleys it’s quite rare that the ball opens so much that your best option is to spin
Is there ever a time when you should turn the other way (counter clockwise if you're playing on the left)? Or would you always recommend moving away when the ball is hitting the side glass first?
When defending a flat overhead on backhand side, you might have to spin counter clock wise. Not so much with volleys. However if they play the overhead with sidespin/vibora the ball doesn’t open as much and you don’t have to spin.
Hello! With volleys you shouldn’t spin if the ball hits the second side panel, but if you are defending overheads, Yes you should be more in the corner and probably spin of the ball hits the second side panel
Hi, what about boosts / contrapared, like for instance Gonza Alfonso very often uses ? Or in general what about a ball with little strength so going to stick to the backwall, and coming maybe not cross-court but from the middle so with little angle ?
Middle is still cross to the corner. If it comes from the player straight the ball is more or less straight. But as a rule we can say the more cross court the more the ball opens and the more straight, the closer it will stay in the corner

Hi, how about the conversion from forehand to backhand when you receive a fast ball to the side glass from very sharp angle?
It works the same way, However, mainly you do this with overheads. Volleys it’s quite rare that the ball opens so much that your best option is to spin
@@tastyplayhardthanks, makes sense
cia gabo ,are there cases in which the conversion needs to be done when the ball hits the 1st and 2nd side panels?
Not really with first panel but if an overhead hits the second side panel, you many times need to spin
