Obviously a lot of love was put into this silly game, but in case you wanna know exactly how much the makers of this game love sonic, the director for this game was the person who tweeted _"If I met Shadow the Hedgehog irl I’d be so embarrassing. I’d try way too hard. I’d be like “hey i like your gun” and he’d prob say some raw shit like “others may have placed me on the path of violence, but it was my choice to follow it” and then I’d pass out"_
You know without Sonic's name tied to it, this game's elevator pitch would have really been hilarious. "So it's a furry murder mystery visual novel where the main character completes tasks by playing a 2.5D platformer on a handheld that ends with the train being in love with the conductor."
Sonic being seen Sleeping in weird places is something I've only seen him do consistently in the Sonic X anime. Other then that, and anytime in the old games he'd sleep when the player was AFK or simply did nothing, I don't know if it's a habit Sonic does in other games/media.
@@ggnicklu He does have his own place canonically (a few actually), but he rarely ever goes to his own place. Same with Tails having multiple labs or Amy having multiple apartments.
I love how that they played Act Attorney and somehow finished it, but here they completely forgot they're playing a DETECTIVE GAME and that they might need to remember things given it's a detective game.
@@prof.laytonfan764 For me, it was twice for the Edgeworth spin off (final case in 1, second to last in 2) and I think I used it for the final case in the first Ace Attorney because of the "two shots, gun fired three times" part. (though finding out the answer for that just pissed me off cos it was that "Only THIS item is acceptable" logic. -_-) I mean, it's fair if it's a few times and the majority is you, but if it's all the time then it's pointless playing the game, you know what I mean?

he pretends to be a fan of something and then uses that to deflect any criticism of him not knowing how to play. Remember how he said Majoras mask was his favorite zelda before being completely lost on what was happening and then just stopped playing. I don't mind him being bad at games but I do mind him clearly lying about his history with said game.
I know this ain't game grumps but Dan and arin Victor isn't a transformer it's the autobots computer that can control the alspark and has well a fuck ton of informational

No Sonic. He’s just not a real person who’s ever existed once. _that is breaking me down😂_
They really just saw Danganronpa was popular and wanted to make something like that. They can't figure out how to make a good Sonic game, so they're taking from other games such as Danganronpa and Zelda: Breath of the Wild.
@@dantepatel Nothing wrong with taking inspiration from other works and putting your own spin on the idea. Danganronpa was inspired by Ace Attorney and Breath of the Wild was inspired by Skyrim.
@@KirbyPhelpsPK Not really... Those games have lots of significant differences from each other. In this game, it's a murder mystery between cast members and there's a mini game where you think- exactly like in Danganronpa.

So cute🤭 Id love to meet t#e sonic cast🥰
Shadow as a Starbucks employee is SUCH a funny bit. One of my favourites
Funniest bit is that he canonically eats coffee beans.
That and the bit about Sonic needing to take an absolute monster dump after having a bad chili dog
@@HeadHunter-mv2htwait, what? He just eats raw coffee beans? Who does that?
@@justinnelson5960
Shadow apparently, he considers regular coffee as just flavored water, the fact was brought up in a sonic twitter takeover

“Sonic, everyone.” Followed by the clapping gets me EVERY time
“He choked on something g and no one could see anything was wrong when he turned blue,”

"So it's a furry murder mystery visual novel where the main character completes tasks by playing a 2.5D platformer on a handheld that ends with the train being in love with the conductor."
Sounds just about normal for the average visual novel experience if you ask me. lmao
I wouldn't say 'love' more like 'attached'.
Glaarf the Cat?: "I have.....no money"
Tails: "Why?"
Glaarf the Cat?: "I spent it all on gambling...."
Best April fool's joke made real. The team that made this game did a great job.
I do agree w/ Arin that there should've been an _eventual_ payout with the slot machine.
but only after you've done like a total of 100 attempts.
I think that's why there's a, "Win the lottery," ending option.
Arin: repeatedly gambling over and over and over and over again
Arin: OH COME ON YOU DONT WIN ONCE????
Welcome to gambling ladies and gents

Other then that, and anytime in the old games he'd sleep when the player was AFK or simply did nothing, I don't know if it's a habit Sonic does in other games/media.
Sonic Adventure had him sleeping in odd locations usually under a tree, but that's the only example I can think of
Sonic pretty much exclusively couchsurfs or sleeps outside.

They were using a walkthrough for ace attorney lol

I never saw the playthrough so idk if it was mentioned but at 2:30 the eyes of Vector, Tails, and Sonic are swapped from their skin color. Neat.
that's actually so freaky(in a good way) i never noticed that before

Tails with the sunk-cost fallacy, reading Arin like a fuckin' book.
That's right, guys, do what Sonic would do: STAND STILL AND THINK.
