this is in my top 5 favorite series solely because it gets so bad that arin literally
1. says he wants to call his mother and have her tell him he’s beautiful
2. gets overjoyed even when they hit a CHECKPOINT
3. actually calls out to god and asks him to save him
4 - it made Dan feel a bit of that anxiety and fear, especially when he screamed on behalf of Arin NO!!
Dan’s “NO!” is still one of my favorite reactions ever. Actual fear.
Maybe the real "Sonic Heroes" were the friends we made along the way.

As someone who has (unfortunately) 100%ed this game, I can tell you beyond any shadow of a doubt, dying in this game is not even remotely your own fault 90% of the time, and that’s not even slightly an exaggeration.

I think of all the times he's forgotten legendary playtroughs that even reached outside the usual viewers but this one is SINGED into his brain. I'm not even mad, just so baffled.
Every time with Arin I find a new kind of anger that nobody has figured out yet.
This video came out on a Thursday, so that "Feelin' good on a Wednesday, hey it is Wednesday... Wait, no it's Thursday." seems just a little more funny.

I think what makes Arin seemingly "bad", is that he's encountering actual in game glitches and issues which makes him get mad and frustrated, which in tern, means that because he's so angry he isn't able to "focus"?? I guess is the word. I'm sure most people are like "well no shit", but I don't know I gotta make some sense of this because I never encountered these problems when I played Heroes, then again its been a good 6 years since I played it
I haven't played the game in a long time either, but I'm certain I never had anywhere near as much trouble as Arin had.

It's also because he's notorious for not reading the in-game instructions. There are so many things that the game explains, like team formations or how the bobsled works, and he either doesn't read them to begin with, or forgets them. Nearly every Team Chaotix stage was him not paying attention to what the mission is when both the loading screen and the walkie talkie tell you. That's some world class not-paying-attention.
Does everyone just conveniently forget Arin has ADHD and obviously has anxiety?
@@starcrysis23ADHD doesn't automatically make someone have more trouble with every game; it depends on the person and game. I can certainly be a factor but it's not automatically an excuse for some playthroughs where tutorials get totally skipped either.
I would also argue that Arin and Dan giving continuous commentary the whole time, and for many continuous hours on end, is probably a pretty big distraction as well compared to if they just played a game silently by themselves outside of the show.
Can someone please enlighten me what the hell is Omega supposed to say when it sounds like "Am I a jar?"
So, they say "annihilation, charge!" but as they attack, it cuts off in the middle and comes out as "annihi-charge!"

This game sucks and is a shame, but not only Arin take an eternity to get simple concept in games, but he FORGET what he learned right away.
Still, congratulation to him to finish the game.

Seeing arin suffer during the rail sections is why to this FUCKING DAY I always use fly mode during rail sections its just not worth the fucking headache.

I love the game grumps very much and I can't imagine myself leaving an angry comment ever.
It's just... man I actually ENJOYED the shit out of this game when I was a kid. Like Arin, I did not had many videogames when I was young, so... I played this over and over again because it was fun to me! I had no problem understanding the buttons, how to defeat enemies... I feel like Arin is trying to defeat "rock" with "scissors" and getting angry because he can't win. :,c and it hurts because I can't help him! Also he does not like or want to do tutorials and that doesn't help. I know he might expect some genius out of Megaman X where you learn the game by playing but, well, unfortunately this is not the case!
IDK man, I just hope he have fun with other games.
i also loved the game as a kid but looking at it now as an adult whose taken game design courses and i hate pretty much everything about it
When you a child you have a lot of time and no taste. I'm myself remember a lot of shity games that i finished to 100%. The problem is that a lot of sonic fans using "i played this as a child and loved it and never had any problems." In reality, they had problems, they replayed the same level over and over again and, basically, trained themselves like speedruners, and now expecting this from everyone else.
