    I was sold on these after watching the video. I already had an idea of using these cabinets on a display wall but for almost $2700 with shipping, I can buy a safe with thicker gauge walls, better door security and installed locally and build a gun wall around that.

      That is true they are extremely overpriced for what you're getting. I think what they're trying to do is they think that they can charge insane prices because they worked with the military. But that doesn't give them the right to charge insane prices and criticize a industry. Also I went to Walmart and Home Depot and I found gun cabinets that bolt together for two hundred bucks a piece and they're basically the same thing as these.

    • @Pennsylvania550
      @Pennsylvania550 3 года назад +4

      Also what they don't realize is they're losing a lot of sales by charging these insane prices. These should not be more than three or four hundred dollars a piece because what they're doing is giving their competition a leg up. Because for there competition you can actually get a real gun safe while for them for the same price you get a Gucci Gun Locker basically

      Exactly my thoughts which I left on another one of their videos. I like the concept due to the better organization inside the safe vs traditional safes but the lack of protection and their insane prices do not justify purchasing them. I much rather have a traditional safe for the same cost and with 10x more protection against fire/theft. What they really are is a glorified gun storage cabinet.

      @@Pennsylvania550 I have 2 of these cabinets and I can say with out a doubt you can’t compare these cabinets to something at Walmart. There are extremely high quality. But will agree they are expensive.

    What about switching hinges so the left cabinets hinge on the left and the right cabinets hinge on the right and the doors open out to both sides like a kitchen cabinet?

    I bought the Agile 52 & 40 gun storage cabinets. I like them. A con with this system is many people now have tactical rifles (AR & AK's) with weapon lights. If those weapon lights are mounted on the side rail or on a 45 degree offset rail you will not be able to fit 6 guns in the Agile systems. If you only have one tactical rifle with a weapon light you can make it work by placing it on the end of the row of guns. I have several tactical rifles with a 45 degree mounted offset surefire weapon light. I am unable to get 6 guns in the cabinet of these type weapons. The cabinet needs to be about three inches wider to allow for storage of tactical rifles with a weapon light setup mentioned above. Many people now have a weapon light setup now-a days. Also I bought their plastic laminate small wall panels, these panels do not allow you to hang bins from the louvre tangs due to being too thick. Since it is plastic the tang is thicker for strength and you cannot hang bins or even install the gun cradles will not hang properly from the plastic laminate smaller panels. If you want extra panels you need to buy the metal ones for it to work with their advertised accessories.

    I was interested in building a wall of 6 or 8 until I saw your prices. I can’t see spending more than $300 for what is essentially a gun locker. Adding accessories such as hangers and shelves at an additional cost is fine but the base price needs to come way down. It looks like a crowbar, probably one of the cheapest and most common tool to break into gun storages, would make quick work of your lockers. Unless you could demonstrate the security of your boxes, the prices are a bit too high.

    I really want one of these, but they're too damn expensive for a gussied up locker. An Agile 52 is over $700, a comparable size Stack On cabinet is $200. These things need to be $400 each or less.

But this doesn't offer any more protection than they do. So doesn't seem like this is priced right. I love the idea but I'm not paying that when it's to much.

    A safe is far better than these for someone who isn't moving in the next 10 years, no common thief can cut through a 7-10 gauge safe in *one minute* lol But these as a concept are perfect for many other scenarios Also the military has 24/7 security so they will never need a real safe. Someone with a heavy duty gun safe can however use these for ammo and less serious stuff such as bags and other stuff. I will be buying these and I will buy a heavy safe one day. They serve different purposes, both are still very relevant you haven't replaced heavy safes though man come on.

      @TomKubiniec-Secureit 5 лет назад

      Mr Owens, Thank you for taking the time to comment. We are not advocating that people get rid of heavy gun safes but if you are looking to add more storage, going lighter has advantages. As far a security of a 7-10GA safe, I can cut a 12" x 12' hole in the side in well under 2 minutes with a common circular saw and any carbide plywood blade. See: ruclips.net/video/s1Ecd7Oyv3Q/видео.html - Here i cut a Liberty FB Jr. It is 11GA steel, 10 cuts the same, 7GA is just a bit slower. You will notice in the video that it takes a few seconds for me the get the saw cutting square, then it just cuts like butter.
      At the end of the day, Secrecy is a better security plan than steel. The Agiles allow you to locate guns in discrete and hicden locations. - See the "4 Places You Should Store Firearms In Your Home" article on our website. If you really want a heavy safe, look at our "True Safe" double walled cement composite filled safe. It's the real deal! Also - AMSEC BF Series safes are really good. Any drywall/carpet safe is basically junk.
