Did you mention the constant road construction, the high cost of living the ever growing property tax and utility bills? The inept mayor and city council that can't keep essential public services running, oh and the constant gas leaks.
We do have storms, flooding, and more recently tornadoes in our area. I've been here for 17 years and we have gotten very rare really harsh weather conditions. Flooding does become an issue yearly due to low water areas and rain.
Morning Star is a great neighborhood especially if you like a natural surrounding. I'll have to highlight your hood on another video. How do you like it?

How about DR Horton lively Ranch community.
I love that they kept a lot of the trees in Lively Ranch and its close to the new HEB.
Another place in central Austin for me to consider relocating to!
