For those who are wondering and might want to try things different, I got attack+ 4 in a t3 investigation. So if you're bored doing day of ruin t3 investigations is your bestfriend. Also soulstream 3 can give attack+ 4 but that is only available after you beat fatalis.
I wouldn’t say Great Jagras is that bad for a beginner to build his basic decoration set. I remember not having Miasma decos so I did GJ 3 times and got them in like 15 minutes. Also there’s the Flora Event quest that gives out some decos in 30 seconds at the beginning of iceborne. It’s not gonna drop anything meta, but you can farm some iceborne decos while steam cultivating something you forgot about and also farm event tickets with it
Fata and armor however involved too grueling of a grind so loyal thunder + fata minus chest(farm from plunderblade - alpha hip) is also sufficed for shield hbg
An Extra note: Rescuing and keeping Pukie Pukie alive in the Witcher quest (Contract:Trouble in the Ancient Forest) gives you one free Attack1 decoration. LBG and HBG can use heal ammo to keep Pukie alive
I did Lavasioth a bunch of times to get my Guard Up decoration before I go into Iceborne. I checked the tables and it can’t drop from anything higher than a Warped feystone, and since Lavasioth guarantees 2-4 per hunt, it was my best option. Loaded up on a bunch of other important jewels, too, so I’ll be good to move on once I finish dealing with the Arch-Tempereds.
I almost shit my pants after getting Attack 4 jewel from a threat level 2 tempered zinogre investigation. Only 2 of the 4 rewards were sealed feystones as well.
mew are number 1 is infinitely more fun and challenging though, if you dont want to speedrun your exit from the game i highly advise people to do that instead for their deco farm, eat for lucky cat, stockpile 40 astrals, keep the good deco combos that you need, and meld the rest into sealed feystones
I have been unlucky, for the 600 hours since I reached MR 100. I have also spent 40-60 hours farming this Teostra event quest. Not once receive an Attack Jewel 4+ will ever reach my end-game builds. I will not give up on this farm because it is the most consistent and fun farm in the game!
Guess I'm lucky. I've been farming a lot, MR 143. But I got 2 challenger 4+ and 2 attack 4+. got one attack of teostra and a challenger, got one challenger in the guiding lands killing namielle a couple of times for health regens and got one attack 4+ from the zinogre quest. Too bad I at most need one challenger deco seeing as I'm running the challenger5 charm
that sucks, the RNG on decos is insane. I believe it's only a 0.27% chance to drop from sealed feystones... so like a quarter of one percent... keep at it!
I am MR 50 or something (new to pc but experienced on console) and I killed Fatalis first run on pc and got rewarded with an attack 4 jewel. After that ran it back for 3 times and got another. Idk maybe rng is with me but I got very good decos from fatalis.

Farmed teostra event all day and didnt get a single attack+ deco, nor even any other useful deco for that matter. I wish there was a way to obtain a specific deco that you want
I really prefer the talisman melding systems from Rise and older games. The deco system in World is honestly terrible, decos are such an integral part of set building and being blocked from them due to bad RNG can be really painful. Granted, the same can be said for talismans, but it’s generally easier to work around a bad talisman than a bad deco list.
How about the temp Furious Rajang quest? Because the 3 feystones u get from Teostra etc. can be rarity 9-12. From the Rajang quest I got so far (2-3 runs) 3 rarity 11-12 decos. Was it kinda just luck? Because u dont get feystones from the Rajang quests, but other "materials" that will be converted to decos
Rajang moves faster, farther, and more often, you can't tenderize the head, and the enraged arms become a horrendous hit zone. Teostra is significantly more efficient and the rarity of decos doesn't matter (take for example that a hard specimen jewel is rarity 11 and practically useless, but an artillery+ jewel is only rarity 9 and is necessary for impact CB, gunlance, and sticky bowguns), it's the feystone type that does [ mhworld.kiranico.com/en/decorations ]. I've gotten as many as 8 *sealed* feystones from a 3 minute Teostra quest, so that's why most people do Teo. If you need some variety then Temp Furious or Temp Luna are fine too, but Teostra is by far the most efficient/easiest way to get the best decorations
not better than day of ruin, but prior to MR100 it’s not bad either. roughly in line with the zinogre quest but, since investigations are kinda random, I don’t recommend it
Naww best way is tempered threat level 3 investigations that give 4 or 5 rewards. Not as consistent to have the quests but still better. Also killing teostra and kushala in the arena gets boring after a while so it switches it up.
If ur a blade master run a mixed set of raging brachy and Teostra. Should do pretty well as a stepping stone to later guiding land quests to help prep for safi weapons then you can move on to the last stuff.
critical jewels have the highest drop chance from warped feystones at 1.14% chance, so farming endgame HR stuff like the name's Lavasioth or Greatest Jagras that give you Warped Feystones will be best, however, farming Day of Ruin will also drop carved AND sealed feystones, which have a good chance to drop them and you'll get way more of those. So really any of those 3 will be very solid
Ohh thats why i cant get some good deco I've been farming the MR 1 event where you need to collect ice bloom its thr fastest way to get decor i have like 23 earplug decor, didn't know this method 😭😭
I did exactly your build and its impossible in 3 mins, how are you not constantly and fire and how do you fight him when he’s so fast your unsheathing animation is equivalent already to 3 enraged teostra moves
@@censure8751In my fights with the Temp Nergi it take a little longer compared to Temp Teostra as the Teostra probably has less health than Nergi but its a good quest to get both Great Spiritvein Gems and feystones at once

yeahhhh, attack+ only have a 1 in 370 (0.27%) chance of dropping from each sealed feystone. So in a perfect world every 100-120 Day of Ruin (since you get at least 3 sealed feystones per run) you'd get an attack+, unfortunately that's not quite how probability works xD so it can be longer or shorter, just fully dependent on RNG and luck
you can always use attack combo decos instead, attack level 4 is basically as good because you still get the +5% affinity! only if you want to min/max your damage do you *need* the attack+ jewels
if you're in iceborne there's really not a point in doing the Greatest Jagras, check out this video for a great way to get some level 4 decos quickly: ruclips.net/video/g1ICpGbDJfU/видео.html
For pc users i highly recommend just downloading a mod that gives better/fair deco drop chances so u wont pull ur hair out that much. (If u really wanna make the most of the teostra quest get the trainer and turn on get all rewards, so u get max feystones)
These are all RNG. While they do have the best chance of rewarding the decos you want- I have gotten ONE attack gem from doing these quests and I have 1200+ hours into the game. It’s ALL RANDOM. Good luck. Good hunting.

u can craft guard up once ur in icebourne. Not sure exactly sure how far into icebourne u have to be. but its in the melder

Im pretty sure u beat story at MR 24. No extra grind is required. U can finish iceborne and go straight to wrath of thunder decends event quest

yeah that one just drops really low rarity decos, you'll get ton but nothing notable for the endgame

you can add a cooling jewel to nullify heat damage. that’s what I run. took 3 minutes and 4 seconds for me, you can see that at 2:56.

Much harder to kill and rajang moves much faster and more frequent than teostra. It takes longer to kill rajang.
teostra is much more efficient, he's super easy to stun lock and you can tenderize the head xD wouldn't recommend it
