"stance damage" = the damage you are doing to their stance, but i think this is also a valid way to use that term, given that's the phrasing that rellana's cameo uses, and given the fact that we already have like 6 synonyms for poise/posture/stagger

Bryce you should do a frost attuned sword lance with impaling thrust its a poise breaking machine it staggers Malenia in 3 hits from the AOW and staggers Consort Radahn in 4
