With the restoration complete in 2020, the Northwest Railway Museum's only operational steam engine comes to life on their interpretive railway! Pulling special excursions up and down the ex-Northern Pacific train line, 924 and her coaches will take you back to the American railroad experience of the early 1900s. Operating on Mother's day, Father's day, and other designated weekends, the oppurtunity to hitch a ride with the last operational wood-burning steam engine in the U.S. isn't frequent, but when you can- it's an experience like no other.
