Nope. The game outlines that the anti-aging drug caused him to turn evil. He created it with the original intention to prolong his career as Spider-Man and thus save more people. But it had side effects on his brain chemistry and caused him to become evil. So prior to even taking the anti aging drug, he was still trying to be the best Spider-Man he can be, which is another variable going against his character in this game.

I can imagine why Peter would be put off by letting this version of MJ die; it's simply not in his character to say, "Screw it, I know she'll be fine anyway." What separates *Edge of Time* from ATSV is that Miles didn't say screw the universe, and Jeff Morales was the only life that mattered. He said, *"I can do both."* His perseverance against Miguel's cynicism made that conflict a staple of what it truly means to be Spider-Man. If Peter, in that game, debated Miguel about finding a way to save MJ and the timeline, then we'd have a conflict where we'd root for Peter to find a solution. So he asked Spidey why he would never let him slide. Peter explained that no matter how small a crime he committed, it would *always* affect others. *"Until you stop doing what you're doing, I'm never going to stop finding you and putting you away... because to me, you're not just "some guy."* It's not that he chose to help Mary Jane; that's a given. It's a fact he chose the well-being of his life over everyone else. What separates *Edge of Time* from ATSV is that Miles didn't say screw the universe, and Jeff Morales was the only life that mattered. Instead, Miguel gives Peter a happy ending, leaving Peter looking selfish rather than altruistic.
You can still quote it, as its still a nice line, just in context of the games story its bad
Well Incredibles 2 & Endgame were pretty good.
I haven’t seen Incredibles 2 in ages and barely remember it, but I can confidently say Endgame is deeply broken as a story.
@@s.k.4289 I wouldn’t say it’s deeply Broken compared to modern MCU storylines excluding Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol.3 & Deadpool & Wolverine.
I disagree with a good bit you say here, but that post about comparing the Miguels… what the fuck was that? That post was bs
@@roughfoxy101 what did you disagree with?
Yeah you're right, for the longest time I thought him selfishly saving MJ is Peter being impulsive and selfish like in the comics sometimes but now looking at this video I realise yeah it's never really shown as a bad moment or something wrong. I still love Peter David tho. May he get well soon.
Yo S.K. You got more room for the next Disagreement Day.
Absolutely

miguel o hara racist meme is sooooooo dogshit bro 😭😭😭
I’m so glad I never played edge of time as a kid because my nostalgia blind ass would have made way more stupid arguments then these people 💀
@@bushmanstudios2490 oh shut up. I’ve made better arguments defending the game than anyone in the video because I atleast don’t tell people to off themselves.
@@bushmanstudios2490 if you actually knew why people like this game, you would know that it’s has to do with a lot more than just childhood nostalgia
@@malkolmxrodriguez7527 I’m not saying that’s the only reason why people like or play this game, and s.k. Makes it clear in his video,I’m just saying that people make a lot of stupid arguments simply because of nostalgia.
@@spider-manunknown9193 dude I’m not saying people can’t make good arguments against this vids points,I’m just saying that a lot of people do make bad points because of nostalgia
19:42 W analogy
1:28 I hope that whole argument gets released at some point, would really like to see that
19:09 well actually it is well written & so is the prequel trilogy. ☝🏼😅
19:04 holy shit thank you! People also tend to forget that writing isn’t a one man show, dark knight returns was also good cause Denny o Neil was there helping Miller meanwhile for all star Batman mr Neil wasn’t there anymore
Can you redo this review, but speak human instead of c/u/c/k/c/h/a/n/n/e/r?
