Former World Championship Wrestling Manager and WCW talent liaison to New Japan Pro Wrestling Sonny Onoo discusses former WWE & WCW Competitor Perry Saturn who suffers from mental health issues and had had issues with demons over the years. Onoo attempted to help Saturn get back on his feet in the past when he was homeless but unfortunately that situation did not work out. Sonny updates us on Saturn's current status where he's apparently having a documentary done on him and getting some type of Government disability payment.

Perry Saturn was one of my favorite wrestlers. A real tough guy. I’m glad he’s gotten back on the right track in life.
Perry was one of my favorite wrestlers when I was a kid. Dude could do everything.
Sonny was the man. He was a good heel manager. Much respect to Sonny for trying to help Saturn
Perry Saturn could've probably been a HUGE star if he'd have made a couple different choices in his career. He was an amazing athlete.. and a genuine tough guy, from what I've heard over the past few years. The last decade hasn't been great to him, but I'm glad he seems to be doing well. Prob a Bly my favorite guy to watch while he was in ECW. And going thru his WCW years, it seemed they had some sort of plans for him, atleast at the beginning. That first angle he worked with Raven in WCW over the US title was great. No doubt his crazy drug use affected his pushes.

It sounds like Sonny really tried to help Perry, it can get to the point where there is no more you can do for someone when they are overwhelmed by the Demons- these personal interviews are great Hannibal. Onoo is a very tactful man. His responses are measured, and thought out- makes me want to watch some of his older stuff on You tube- when he was in character...
In the end Perry Saturn let the demons take him down. I can see why he embraced them now If Sonny's estimate- of $750.k is correct. Sheesh that is enough Dough- to be set up for life, if you lived reasonably- Saturn went from having a good runs in ECW, WCW , -- WWF, & New Japan - All the while saving some of his earnings-- then as his prime in ring days are just about to descend his wife drains all his cash assets, files a restraint, barring him from his own home; & then divorces him-- man divorce lawyers must love that kind of shit! I wondered how Perry Saturn got to where we all saw him. It sounds like his ex wife used him like a big dog. then played him like a fiddle-- Ohno hit the nail on the head-- she took the fruit of Saturn's life's work. Greed/Avarice- sprinkle in a little heart ache-- poor Saturn-- my sweet ole lady-- cocaine Katie- always said he was her fave-- she said he had the look of that classic "Circus Strong Man" type you always saw portrayed . He was a solid piece of talent- and very good in the ring- I wish him stability & happiness moving forward-

i LOVED saturn as a kid, esp after he made it to WWF. smackdown 2/no mercy was my first real wrestling games i dived into and loved his suplexes and submissions. him, gangrel, cristian, and al snow were my guys.... the rings of saturn to this day is my favorte upper body ground submission to the texas cloverleaf lower body.
