I bought this in a set from qvc with a different packaging but haven’t burned it yet. Doesn’t sound very promising unfortunately. And I have to admit your packaging is superior as it looks so delicious! Thanks for the review and heads up! And yes I will definitely be pairing it with others.
I agree with the ambiance! That's my favorite thing about Homeworx. Their packaging pulls me in. I think they smell more the further down you get on the wax.
Hi Katie, HUGE snowstorm going on here.Trying to burn candles today. I agree with you 100 percent in all aspects. Homeworx candles are very beautiful to look at. They also need to cure and they really open up at the halfway point. I did padd on this candle for I did have the similar candle from last year. I am a 4 hour burner too. I love your videos and trust your insights. I hope that you have a wonderful day
Thank you! It was almost 80 degrees here today, but we’ll be pretty chilly tomorrow with a high of 60 😉. Yes, the labels are so pretty & Harry’s blends are still some of the best in the business.
Sounds like Raspberry Coconut Snowball which I have and might burn this Christmastime. This could be similar to their Valentine's Day scent Be Mine, it has a Raspberry Jam note. This cake one sounds great for Valentine's Day. I'd get it. At BBW, during their $3.95 foaming hand soap sale, I bought Cherry Frost, White Tea & Sage, Diamond Of The Season, Bridgerton Study, Wisteria Garden, Peach Bellini, Coastal Watermelon, and Fresh Cut Lilacs.
@@scottvanhille5688 I wish brands were more transparent when a fragrance is a repackage so people don’t waste their $ on scents they already have. I guess that’s what my job is though. Letting ya’ll know when to save your coins 😂
I ordered this one and was so disappointed by the strength and throw. I haven’t purchased Homeworx in quite some time because of quality issues and I wish I would have stuck with my gut and not spent my money on this brand again. Luckily with my coupon and rewards I only spent about $14 on each candle, but BBW has much better performing candles that I could have spent money on.
Unfortunately I’ve let some of his candles sit for a year or longer and that did not improve the strength or throw. But I guess it just depends on. Disappointing that newer pours are like this.
@@bookaddict8574 like all brands, there are hits & misses. I’ve had some good ones recently too. I find this to be the case with all of the brands I buy from.
I don’t know about HW .. I have had very little luck with them. My 2022 candles sat for over a year and still very little throw. The Orange creamsicle one is doing a little better than Birthday Cake and the other 2 I have burned recently but not enough to say it’s worth it. I know people are saying the 2022 were lighter, but for them to go a whole year… ugh.
Yes, I did not have success with a lot of the 2022 pours. Something was very off that year, which is why I think so many ended up in discount stores. My theory is likely that they had a contract with whoever was making the candles that they had to ride out until it expired & they could make changes. Most of the newer pours have been good for me. I’ve had to implement new strategies when burning (like a longer first burn, no wick trimming, etc.) but in fairness, I have different burning “rules” with every brand. Everyone can have their own opinions about brands. 😊 For example, I know so many people stick to & love BBW, but they are still the brand I have so many issues with. Their wicks dud out on me at least 50% of the time or get sooty & most of their fragrances (particularly this time of year) are too synthetic smelling to my nose. It’s all so subjective which is why I never disregard anyone’s opinion. Even strength & throw comes down to personal taste. As for me, Harry still comes up with some amazing fragrances, which is why I just can’t quit the brand 🤪

Now that Jelly Donut is back at Kringle…😂

Yes! Agree!

I had Be Mine in 2023 & it was a different scent than this, but I’ve heard from many that this is the same as Raspberry Coconut Snowball.
@@katiesjoyfullife Aren't repackages great?

Understandable. I like the scent, but definitely wish it was stronger. 😒
