I ordered one of these today, the set with the bag and pole. Your video was very helpful in understanding how everything works. I film by myself, so the tracking features are going to be very useful.
I started using it for my video laser week, so nice not having to worry about framing. Still have to upgrade my eosr firmware as the palm sign still doesn’t start/stop recording. Other than that all good 👍
This was an EXCELLENT video, really, REALLY excellent!! I’ve watched some pretty ‘flashy’ review videos on this gimbal, but yours (without any flashiness) was superior to all of those others!! Thanks for the great work and keep up the top-notch work!
I have the Scorp 2 mini and I freaking love it. I knew the motors were strong enough for my small lenses but I had know idea it could handle a lens as big as you just demonstrated. That was pretty great!
Thanks for the great video!
Your hair looks better in this video (as compared to the captioned video segment). Your new style is working, bro. Cheers! 💫
Thanks ☺️
Your workbench surface graphics are very cool. I might try that out in my shop. Cheers! 😊
As long as you are not doing drawings with thin paper, I have not epoxy it so there are ridges all over
Very informative without scripting keep posting like this really useful video for us 📹📷🎥😇
Thanks
One of the best videos about scorp c2. Thanks a lot from Brazil
Thanks for watching 👀
Authentic straight to the point review! Thank you sir 👍
Thanks for your support 👍
Excellent review and instructional video. I ordered one. Thanks!
Yep. Me too. 👊😁
Excellent job on your video. Because of your video I went out and bought this gimbal. Unfortunately, I’m gonna have to send it back because it would not balance with my Canon6D mark ll and a 24-70 L lens just under 4 lbs. It’s like I need just a few grams of counter weight. I’ll try again tomorrow before I send it back… thanks for the good info
I hope you get it sorted, it is not the weight of the load which usually cause problem but the cent of gravity of the set up. If balanced correctly you should feel very little resistance when moving the camera in any direction with the gimbal off. When there is little resistance moving the camera there is not a lot of work needed for the motor. I now use a short lens because I have a 4k crop EOSR but I also use my EOSR with sigma 24-70 on the gimbal
Sir who is best gimbal for scorp-c and DJI ronin sc 🤔 pls answer the question ❓😐
Not sure as I have not tested the Ronin myself
@@BCreviews ok 🙂
Nice !! Can you please share links & suggestions for product also
thanks ! i've a question, can i use this gimbal for a smartphone too ? (i don 't want to buy the mini scorp 2 because my SONYwith the lense are too heavy. Thanks
I don’t see why not, will need some kind of phone adapter or jig tho. Will need to calibrate the motors every time you switch between the phone and camera because of the weight difference
I just bought this and im having a little harder time to ballance it..i wish someone had a video out there a step by step without fast forwarding the process…
So many out there already, try this ? ruclips.net/video/-xR2b6ood4E/видео.htmlsi=3JEINxjLk4lCUDpG
I had the Ronin-SC and did not like it at all. I spent hours trying to get good footage out of it. I was looking at the Ronin RS 4...but was also looking at the Scorp 2 that you were showing. What are your thoughts, have you used both? Cheers
What is the issue with your set up? I don't know much about Ronin SC as I did not have a chance to test or use them.
@@BCreviews I spent hours...and I mean like 100 hours....I could never get the gimbal to focus correctly. It constantly jumped around. For example I wanted to do a simple 20 foot walk along the ground with the gimbal...a low shot. However, 9 times out of 10 by the time I walk 15 feet, the gimbal jumps to the left or right. So I could never get basic footage. It was just too jumpy and unreliable.
Do you feel this gimbal would be a good match for the Panasonic Lumix S5 II with the Panasonic 24-105 zoom? From what I can tell this setup is about 3.3lbs. Is that too much? I have been told not push a gimbal to near its payload limit.
honest answer is that I do not know, It is usually not the weight which cause problem for the gimbal but the imbalance and the inertia from the weight and fast movement. I n UK I would buy from Amazon with fulfilled by Amazon and test it, if it doesn't work then return it within 30 days free of charge. Hope you find one which works for you!
@@BCreviews Thank you.
does the image transmission allow you to track an object like a car or other non face object? does it need the app for that once selected? and can you set follow focus points with the waypoints?
Not sure, I only ever use it to track myself when I am filming by myself. It seems like tracking my upper body most of the time when I use hand gestures to activate tracking.
What are you using to connect it with blue tooth - I am using a canon r5 as well
How do you clear the motor overload
If the camera is well balanced it should not have motor overload. I usually do a calibration after changing my camera set up.
Sigma 70-200 f2.8: 1335g (2.945lbs)
Sony a7iv: 660g (1.45lbs)
This set up is well below the payload capacity, would it still work?
This set up totals 4.395lbs, the scorp 2 has a payload capacity of 5.51lbs.
It is not just the weight but the weight at the end of the length which will stress out the motor. Is the 70-200 is as long as my canon L then it will not work really well when moving about a lot
@@BCreviews thanks benson!
My scorp 2 brand new wont function properly. powered on after balance and nothing
Need more information to diagnose the problem. If you post a video I can have a look?
How far do you have to walk out of frame before the AI track loses you?
