I ended up getting the SCORP C which is is pretty much the NON AI/Touchscreen version but still bad ass. I'm coming back for this model AND the Pro one day
Love the review.. please can you compare it to DJI RS4 non pro. i want to see which one stabilizes better. i just need a good stabilization for any kind of situation.
@@MrTechTok I bought the Ronin SC in 2019 and hated it....want to upgrade...do you think the Ronin RS 4 is good...or do you think the scorp 2 is just as good....I only want to do simple things...follow a subject from behind, simple walk with a crowd...not looking for all the "effects"

I bought it. Has to be perfectly, I mean perfectly balanced to get some stabilization. As far as getting cinematic shots, I havent gotten any yet. n Parallax is almost impossible, considering buying something else at this point.
Love the review but I have to point out that the new one you are reviewing is the Scorp 2 which can handle 2.5kg pay load where as the previous model you show is actually the Scorp Mini which can only handle 1.2kg max. They have also just released a Scorp Mini 2 which unfortunately can still only handle 1.2 kg. For the extra $100 US I think I will be getting the Scorp 2 which you have just reviewed.
I bought this gimbal and it's absolutely shit and that's being polite, the knobs that are supposed to lock both the slider and the cross arm constantly lose grip and loosens during operation making something that's balanced correctly at the start go unpredictably wonky after a few takes. I have even tried tightening those knobs with a plier and they still allow slippage during operation so to me either i got a bad copy or this things meant for hobbyist not professionals , my two cents, get something else.

nope. too far out. You can try using APP tracking (not AI tracking) but the plane needs to be big enough.

depends on the country, its not out in the states yet so for me locally in China its around 1700CNY or 240USD depending on exchange rate.
