@ nah it’s counted as a dog wyvern even in gain’s newest video he talks about it being part of that group its just found on a different island chain called the Jurassic frontier.
If dog and runner wyverns come back to wilds with their greats and dromes, it would be both a welcome and terrifying sightif they pull it off. Imagine getting runned downed on a wide field by a pack of 30 or more veloci with 3 dromes, even while your on a Seikret.
Considering their hunting method and comparable size to a Seikret, there's a high chance booking it wouldn't even help you, with the established speed of the Jaggi especially.
Imagine a Turf War between 2 Packs of Dog or Runner Wyverns. Like and all out 20 vs 20 brawl that ends with one of the leaders falling and the rest of the group than spliting in all directions. Would 100% bring out my Popcorn for that

I always gotta give my respects to the Jaggi mob for teaching me that letting my sharpness on my Hammer go down to broken red and bouncing off of everything was in fact NOT a very smart idea! Also, if you ever mention future "misclassified Subspecies", please try and fit in a little blurb in reference to the IRL reasoning for their mis-classification i.e. needing to keep the old copyright/trademarks (same reason for "Super Saiyan Blue" being 'Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan" in merchandising), as well as the original Japanese language preventing there being more than 1 Subspecies and Rare Species per Monster.
I find these guys (dog wyverns in general not just these three) way more compelling than the dromes although I guess they were dealt a better hand. And the Great Jaggi roar is ingrained into my head.
These are even though most of them are reskins with a few added tricks (save izuchi cause they're super unique), i still love them. They have alot of personality compared to early raptors
Khezu laying it's whelps into living bodies to serve as host, Baggi building army-like structures that also paralyze and eat their prey alive and them as well as Blangos gradually increase their intelligence to the point that the latter might even start building tools in the future? The northern regions seem to be the Australia of Monster Hunter (which is ironic because Australia means "Southern land").
I cannot tell you how much I enjoy these video's, I run a DND game, and these videos got me thinking about the world I made and how the ecology works, how the party's actions effect the monsters of the world, it has improved the world so much thanks to your videos, I hope you keep doing these videos all the way through MH Wilds and beyond
This channel got me to play all the older monster hunter games and i absolutely adore the series. I look at it so differently from how i used to. Its not just an arcadey monster arena, vut a living and breathing world. Thank you for these incredible videos. Cant wait for your Wilds videos. It's my headcannon that my characters have studied all these "journal entries" to learn from them, haha
9:52 I wonder if this could be a lore reason why we only see Jaggi in Rise. Like maybe the ones we encounter are on their journey to grow, and when they grow big enough to be Great Jaggi, they migrate to their home turf and we just don't see it

The great Jaggi is my favorite monster of the franchise, he was the first monster I hunted back in 4U and I kept using his armor and sns for most of it
These small monsters might not be the strongest or the toughest around, but they know how to survive when giant monsters are around them and they have numbers and strength to this harsh environment and good job with the video and I hope you’re doing well and stay safe and keep up the good work you’re the best😊❤
We know that Baggi is the largest Dog Wyvern, and I guess you could try to compare him in Rise vs Kulu to see how they measure up, I didnt think to do that
favourite "Dog Wyvern" in terms of combat: Great Wroggi. i like poison as an offensive status on a monster, and Great Wroggi has a good design. he also lives in the Flooded Forest (second favourite swamp... and that 2nd place is about to be contested with the incoming Scarlet Forest). favourite "Dog Wyvern" in terms of equipment: Great Jaggi. his SnS has one of the best designs i've ever seen. it's basically a *thicc* Messer and a Heater Shield. if Great Jaggi (somehow) returned in Wilds, then you can bet your whole in-game wallet and your Congalala-esque butt that i'm making that SnS.
I loved hunting the Great Jaggi, always went out of my way to hunt him when he showed up in Quest. Whether it was during Rathian, Rathalos, or Qurapeca. If he was there I’d take 5 minutes to kill him and then keep going with the actual hunt.
I was looking forward to a new videos from this channel but you hasn't yet made any documentary on monster hunter's leviathans creatures i mean it's only fair right you already did bird wyvern, fanged wyvern, brute wyvern, etc i need my dose of leviathan show me mizutsune, royal ludroth, etc please 🙏

I've always entirely disliked the Velocidrome and its palette swaps; the Great Jaggi, Wroggi, and Baggi always seemed like far better designs to me.
