Guerrilla 450 Review: Royal Enfield Ambushes Triumph

- It's called the Guerrilla, but the city is where it excels best.
If there ever was a point and shoot motorcycle, this is it. The Guerrilla 450 is fast, agile, precise, characterful, stable and goads you into giving it "full gas" at all times. Don't believe me, then watch this video.
It, simply put, is the most fun motorcycle to ever come out of the Royal Enfield stable.
What do you think? Let me know in the comments below.
I'd resign if I had to commute that far to work on a BORING BIKE
🤡🤡🤡
I'm from the UK. Your roads look like organised chaos to me but it all seems to work. You sliced through that traffic like a hot knife through butter, great to watch. Looks like you had a great bike to do it on too.
It is surprisingly flickable. I am amazed how non-RE this bike is.
The video I needed. I booked this bike 2 weeks ago and I had the same thoughts as you while test riding this bike. This is a very good bike. Everyone on the internet is talking about the flaws that the bike could better in a way that it could be a little bit more sporty. "This is stuck between both worlds". But I did not think so. You said it correct. What more do you want from a bike in a country like India. This is waayy moree than enough to make you smile while riding. Watching your video was like watching myself riding and enjoying😂
"Not everything can be a Honda cb350, lacks a soul whatsoever".... That felt like it went through the torso man, as a 350 rs owner.
But isn’t it true.
If a bike doesn't break itself from the middle, doesn't have loud valve clatter then it does not have a soul.
@@abhinavbhatt haha, I felt it because it's true. Truer still since I took a test ride of the Guerrilla.
@@sierrachief117well, Guerrilla manages to have soul without doing either you mentioned. Thank God my visor is tinted because I was grinning the entire duration of my test ride.
And here I bought a Honda 350 after seeing your video back in 2022..and in love with it since then
Hi Abhinav. I have ridden both recently and my two cents is that the Triumph is closer to being a more well-rounded and perfect bike, but level of perfection is not always directly proportional to the excitement and fun factor and that is where the Guerilla has slight edge. 🙂
Exactly my thoughts. I ride a bike because I want that excitement.
Please do more of these long commute videos on different bikes!
Will do.
Yes it's fun
First of all the location of your home is just super calming..even though you live in Delhi..
Now i driven this motorcycle few days back it seriously is way too good for its stance and size...hopefully it will sell in good numbers..
Even when I test rode this bike, when I opened throttle at 2nd gear “ohhh my god”, this bike is bonkers fast, it pushed me back, my left hand almost came off the handle & this is faster than interceptor for sure in 0-100. And it sounds sweet too. Crazy bike for the price.
I recenty took a test ride and i'm smiling for the whole video watching you talk about that second gear pull, it really pushes you back 😂
these videos are low key satisfying
Thank you
Back at it witth a bang, lovely to see the content! I think I saw you on the noida--greater noida expressway the other night riding alongside a speed 400 in the night, somewhere near exit 4 perhaps.
Quite possible.
Bro.. I couldn't agree more with you on soooo many points that you've mentioned like the way the weight should be felt and not by figures, the bit about handlebars and their reach, the bit where you denied to scape knee on corners on city roads, the most used zone of the bike.. watching your videos is like watching myself on screen. Keep up the good work brother. Much love.
Took test ride of the guerilla and i was really surprised and had a big big smile on my face..wht a fun to ride bike...Royal enfield has really come up long way
Foreigners will get anxiety attack watching indian traffic and riding style in this video 😂😂😂
Well I'm in England.... Your road conditions are .... Well, let's try to be polite... Rather different! Half way through the video we heard the words, "I don't have a death wish". Hmmm😂
@@Trev350yea it's organised chaos 😂
Everyone for themselves and the objective is to stay alive haha
@@percentbigfootorganised ? 😅
@@ianhughesroyalenfield haha hello ian. Have watched your channel for some time, great fun.
And believe me, it's organised, people here know what I mean. There is an unnatural sync with the traffic, with experience you can predict what other random people will do, when to brake, change lanes etc haha.
It looks pretty bad on the camera i must say but it's quite fun 😂🤌🏼
Everyday is an adventure!! 😂😂👍
I love the looks of this bike! Looks like a blast to ride ,too. Abhinav, doing this commute every day will give you the reflexes of a leopard.
Exactly my words on this bike. Not a fucking RE by any chance! It sounded like a Tuono V4 at some points in the video, especially the midrange. I own a 2015 duke 390 and am seriously considering this for my daily commute but the mileage 😢
"motherf*cker"😂😂😂😂. With you bruh, with you there. I hate those too. It's a surprise how almost a century after independence we still cannot adhere to basic traffic rules. Although thanks to the Sherpa, all my woes seem to reside as soon as I pop the second gear.

That's a phenomenal review. I hope you do use your commute to review bikes every time from now on. 😅
That's the plan.
Insane riding!
captivating video; no stroll through the English countryside here!
These ARE my kinda colours! ❤
Class act...i am a fan... Made sense all the way
Abhinav, pls try and get your hands on the Mavrick. Would love to hear what you think!
I'll try to. I really like the idea of that bike. Simple, powerfu, relaxed city bike.
@@abhinavbhatt exactly! Something tells me you'll be pleasantly surprised! :) I found it to be a capable cruiser too in the short test ride I managed to get! Hope you get your hands on one.
Actually yes! Would love to hear Abhinav's thoughts on Mavrick. That bike seems to be that underrated one which many doesn't know about.
Rich content = Abhinav Bhatt , always like your content bro
I don't listen to anything that the people who use the term "GAS" for petrol say.
@@heavenlypot That won't do you any good though. Lol.
Gas is short for gasoline which literally means petrol. What are you on about?
Yet you watched this video. Talk about being a hyprocite 🙂
@@s2tp97 Stopped watching it as soon as he called it "Gas".
@@110mano It'll save me a lot of time to watch motorinc.
good commute review
One can’t ride this bike at a constant speed due to it’s fun factor 😂😆
I own GR450, love the way it pulls, fully satisfied. Only drawback is tank capacity😢
Is it reliable enough? how is the quality of parts?and what about the refinement and vibrations? I am planning to buy this as my first bike in a few months.
@@utkarshjoshi4394 I have ridden 1000km on it. Engine is reliable & quality of parts are decent. Engine is bit smoother than the other RE Bikes. There are some vibration but i didn't feel them much. Overall bike is fun to ride & wow factor is its power.
Nice. One of the cons about the GR450 is the wet weather performance of the new Ceats. Do let us know how that goes. Also please try and do the 2024 Duke 390. I feel you would really like that for the point and squirt nature, if you can get the riding posture to work.
Somehow the Duke has never appealed to me. Not even enough to try it. The other problem is I know nobody with a bike or have any contacts in KTM. And I am too lazy to go to a showroom for a test ride. I'd want a bike with me at least a week or more to evaluate it properly.
@@abhinavbhatt Fair enough. I feel thats the one bike, in this motor class, that also has the point and squirt characteristic that you seem to enjoy.
I see a lot of Kia cars on the road. Regarding the bike, love what Royal Enfield is doing since 2020.
"The fucking second gear man🥰" - Abhianv, 2024
Can we install guerrilla's rear wheel in himalayan 450?
You seem too pretentious bro, tone it down a little with that fake accent.
what is that whirling sound in 4;25-34 , happening in my bike too. Is it normal?
In India, when left to the riders, traffic flows smoothly, Traffic happens when there are unnecessary roadblocks, Signals & police.
until there is a junction
Raw video! Great!. waiting for your fuel tank swap onto the Rally Himalayan from guerilla. Will it happen?
Mounting points are different. May not be worth the trouble to redo everything
@@abhinavbhatt Okay. Understood.
Hope you wld lay your hands on the BSA Goldstar shortly.. I have ridden it & wld surprise you...
I really want to. I did take a short spin and I love it.
@@abhinavbhatt waiting for that one😀
Total murder ride to work, you have balls of steel !
Wow I do 50 km exactly, each side here in Mumbai by car (centrl Mumbai to Panvel) and it takes me exactly around 1.5 hours each side. It'd be such a drag to have to spend 2 hours just in 30 km commute. Tho to be be fair, its all highway with many flyovers en route.
I can do this all day. 😂
Thats what probably this bike would say to the city traffic here.
Its a fun bike for sure, a nice change from Royal Enfield.
It is surprisingly fun.
Pls help me about scrambler 400 vs gurilla 450
Need seat comfort rider and pillion
And batter suspension on bad roads
And want fun bike on city and highway
Guerilla if you are not touring otherwise scrambler 400X
If you are touring long distance and go off-road then go for S400x
And if you are mostly ride in city, highway and occasionally do small tour then gurilla is for you
Suspension are equally good in both but look better in s400x but feel performance of it is slightly better in gurilla
And s400x is calm bike and gurilla is agressive one and handle Better than 400x go and test ride both yourself then decide
Duke 390
*Abhinav bhatt is fixed on this mini rocket 🚀 he won't leave his hands from this for a long time* 🎉
I'd love to see how this bike performs on off-road, I hope trail riding video is lining up after this one!?
No. Why would I take it offroad.
Delighted to watch this ride . How is the heat management and does this machine require frequent gearchanges like the Honda CB 350 .
I didn't feel any heat and no, doesn't need a lot of gear changes. Very meaty torque band.
@@abhinavbhatt I value your observations eversince your review on Honda Highness 😉
Which bike should I choose between the interceptor and the guerilla? I like the interceptor more but I’m just concerned about riding it in the traffic because of the weight and the heat. That’s the only place where I think guerilla is a bit more practical
Guerrilla.
Bro do these types of videos as well, I enjoyed it even if I had no mood of watching the guerrilla 450
I feel RE should update this tune on him450, I hate 1st and 2nd gear on that bike
Some reviewers have criticised the tyres on wet roads , what is your experience with then ?
I haven't tried this bike on wet roads. But on dry roads, I had no issues with the grip.
@@abhinavbhatt thanks for replying 😀
It would make great scrambler if done properly and yeah after 4-5000 rpm it asks for more😅

What's the gloves you are wearing! I just got my GRR450 and I'd like to buy the one you have!
These are Raida dirt bike gloves. Not really meant for tarmac.
What average did the speedo showed when you reached office?
I took mine’s delivery day before yesterday and I’m not riding it nearly as menacing as you are due to break in period😅 so was just wondering what fuel economy we can expect after riding it like you 😅
Never mind what fuel economy he can expect , I'd be more worried about what life expectancy he can expect ! He rides it like he stole it.😂
Only thing I dislike is fuel tank capacity
Me too
What mileage u get in city
Cool ❤
Please bring back the interceptor videos! A commute like this to on any inty would be great.
I will.
Hi abhinav.....
I want to purchase the upcoming classic 350 .....
Any idea whether the saree guard is removable or not on there ?
Cuz' i really hate that thing and im gonna convert it to single seater anyway
Has to be removable
Can u do a mileage test on this bike?
Hi Abhinav, in 2024, do you still think the CB350 is a good purchase?
How do you stack it against the Guerrilla for purposes such as city rides and touring? Thanks and safe riding!
Hi. The CB 350 is a fantastic bike but it is a bit boring, a bit vanilla. It will do everything you want it to, just not in an exciting manner.
@@abhinavbhatt very helpful. Just rode the rs test ride bike a few days back and loved it. Shall go and ride the guerrilla too before going for any.
Also, is the scepticism towards the quality of Royal Enfield bikes still justified, or is it a bygone thing and one can expect the same kinda reliability as one does from a major brand? Thanks again bro, and appreciate all that you do :)
@@Mayankkkohli RE and reliability still a long way to go compared to Honda. I wanted to buy Classic reborn but chose the Highness due to service quality and overall ownership experience.
Yes the Guerilla might be thrilling to ride but in the end it's an RE which doesn't guarantee a niggle-free experience. Would request you to do some research on RE's after sales experience and interview existing RE owners before planning to buy one. Cheers!
@@faustinepimento298 very helpful. Thanks for sharing 🙏🏼
Satisfying traffic pov.
Review the new gen d390 pls if u get a chance..
Which one is your favourite colour of this bike??
Silver.
I own one the worst part are those stock mirrors for me
As per the colour scheme, it should have been named the Royal Enfield Chhapri 450...
Your riding style is fuelled by testosterone.
Stay safe man
Thanks
wtff a scooter guy comes through the traffic at 17.46 and everyone like "yeah buddy, we will make way for you". fucked up civic sense
Hi brother , how can i improve low-end of my bs4 ecosport tdci diesel car , its great in day to day scenario but when it comes to inclines underground situations it's just weak and struggles alot even in 1st gear , any suggestion . Im expecting a solution to this from you brother. Thank you.

@@abhinavbhatt thankyou , tried code6 remap but I couldn't find any difference , i will try diesetronic plug n Play , hope it works. 🤝🤝🤝
@sunny_karthik All the best.
Need a video on bsa goldstar like this😊.
I won't ride it fast though. The temperament is very relaxed of that bike.
@@abhinavbhatt It seems to be quite quick on its feet though. More like a bullet 500, only more powerful, more torquey, more refined, much faster, much better, overall a gift to those who miss the punchy low end of the RE 500.
Also, the Goldstar despite being a 650, is going to be more flickable, peppier, and nimble. It'll urge you to go fast just like Classic Legends always do. Only this time you can be calm too when you choose to.
@@110mano In some other reviews from other countries, they mentioned goldster is not as quick handler as interceptor. But the engine is torquy. More alive. Have to ride one.
@@akinsonsharma7530 Yeah, some opposing views out there for sure. On the contrary I have also come across some UK reviews which claim BSA to be tad bit quicker with a stiffer ride. However, soon enough, we shall find out for ourselves here. ✌🏼
so now how much time do you save by commuting on bike??
Half an hour to an hour each side.

How is the suspension??
Pretty good. Sporty but not bone jarring.
How is the engine heat?

I dropped idea of buying it because of small tank. I am going for the speed 400. As it has better tank range. As i often tour and i dont want a bulky adventure bike.
How about installing spoke wheels and upside fork 😂
I'd want to make a proper supermoto on this platform.

Reckless driving in the city, putting yourself and others in risk, thumbs down

@@ontheroad8149 disagree, you should drive fast only in empty highway in straight line, no zig zag, and sudden acceleration and deceleration. If you want to do zig zag do in race track or video games, not on public roads.
