I'd say, if you're in the mood for a gentlemanly ride like "fancy a motorcycle ride good sir?" it's the speed. And if you're in for some hooliganism like "yo bro let's get a blast on the road bro, yo!" it's the Guerrilla. You CANNOT ride the Guerrilla calmly. That said, Guerrilla sure is the more exciting of the two.
I own a speed 400 and I am in my late 30's. Have to disagree, It is not a motorcycle for calm/quiet rides. You have the bullets or cb350's for that. It doesn't like low speeds much due to the jumpy nature when you close the throttle in low speeds. It is not meant to be ridden on constant speed all day. It is a blast on 2-4 lane highways, very easy to lean on the twisties, grippy alpha tires, can be in high revvs and low gears when you are looking for some fun.
Its not in the same price bracket but for hooligan stuff KTM 390 and even 250 are miles better. The way the power is delivered. The bikes are light. Delivery is frantic and exciting. It's one thing that KTMs do the best.

Yes the 390 is faster and would attain higher speeds, but the feeling of that crazy torque hitting you in the Guerrilla remains unmatched.

I own a Speed 400 for past 4 months and below are the few clarifications on what Abhinav mentioned. 1. Yes, the wrists feel a bit of an ache initially, which goes away after 2 months 2. Don’t judge the speed by the speedo, as it ahas considerable errors 3. The engine is so smooth that you might not feel any difference between 40kmph to 80kmph 4. The bar end mirrors are great, just needs to be adjusted to the correct angle 5. The bike has the ability to be driven easy as well as crazy 6. If you are coming from a 250cc or less bike, this bike will provide you with unique balance of composure and fun 7. The fuel consumption I am getting in peak office hours traffic is 24kmpl and it is fairly good, on highways you can enjoy 36kmpl 8. I would have preferred a twin analogue speedo with a gear indicator like the kawa 650RS 9. The clutch lever used to be thick and chunky, which in later versions of the bike they have changed to a slimmer one and it is better and easier to use 10. The switchgear is perfect, even with gloves on (I always ride with gloves on) they can be easily toggled My personal opinion, if like the looks of the G450, go ahead with it, otherwise S400. Both bikes are equal. You take a trial and be the judge. It boils down to personal preferences. That’s all.

@@abhinavbhatt oh okay, thank you
I am the only one hearing the screeching noise every time he brakes ??
Hitting the limiter at 8000 RPM is strange, on mine and quite a few on team bhp, the limiter occurs at 10000 RPM
Maybe it was 10k. The display is so small it is hard to tell.
@@abhinavbhatt Yaa, I hate it, if only they had swapped the Speed and Tacho on this bike 😮💨
@@anmolkale16 yeah. Idiotic design.
You mentioned that Speed 400 is faster than GRR 450, it's a big & false claim buddy. RUclips has many videos of drag races of both the bikes please refer to those videos and GRR 450 has beaten Speed 400 in 9/10 races.
Of course speed 400 is more powerful then gorillah
@@kelawalashehzad3801 see the drag race videos, there are plenty and the results are quite the contrary.
Is it Domi 400 detuned engine????
No it is different motor.
Faster than the guerrilla? That's just flat out wrong
It's not possible to turn off the traction off in the speed 400. You have the option of doing that in the Scrambler 400X but not this one.
Traction Control can be disabled but not the ABS. Both can be disabled on the Scrambler.
Correct.
When is the scrambler 400x commute video coming out?

faster than the guerilla?
Bro do a ride to work series
Yeah. This is shaping up into that. But I need access to bikes for that.
@@abhinavbhatt This is a novel format and brings credibility to the content
Ride Jawa 42 FJ too and tell how it feels.
Sure.
Fast but Boring.... exactly my thoughts when I first rode this bike... But my daily rider is an unrestricted and heavily modified husky... So that's given 😅
Please Ride review the Aprilia rs457
I really want to.
Guirella beats it in drag and u r saying it's faster than guirella?
A drag is not the only way to determine which bike is faster. Speed has better roll on times which is the more practical way of determining which is faster.
@@abhinavbhatt guirella is better handler, faster, has better suspension tune, engine has more character than speed, better road presence due to its size. It's only downside is ceat rubbers which can be changed easily. Plus service network right now is far better. I see no reason to go for speed other than just because of Triumph badge.
@@turtle8386If the speed is small for you so is the guerilla both are about the same dimension. Yes roll on time matters more in the real world not top speed. The suspension did you even ride them or just watched the reviews, Guerilla is very stiff not hunter level but still very stiff for our roads. All in all if you want something that likes to be revved Guerrilla is the way to go
@@k-kishan-n guirella is bigger. Check da dimensions n comment bro. Guirella is longer n wider. There is a comparison between them in autocar. U can watch it there.
Yes please make more videos about speed400 highway rides, on bad patch of roads.
Will do.
Looks like the first gen pulsar (the one with the round headlight) 😂
That was a great looking bike for its time.
I guess you are tall so you need triumph 400X not this one
