As many of you may have noticed, I am not used to this amount of loot and missed several things in my periphery:
- Jerry Can in Hibernia
- Revolver and Rifle rounds in Riken
- Prybar in Riken
- Fishing line in car by the gate
Also I didn't loot the First Aid Kit by the gate.
Gotta adjust my vision for Stalker :)
Also not sure if it occurs on Stalker but on lower levels in the hidden boat area of Hibernia there is a plastic container on what would be the seat on the overturned boat if it was right side up.

Just wanted to mention, although I am sure you are aware, that if you reload your pistol in the inventory menu, the shells stay in your inventory and won't drop to the ground. Can save a little time.
Watching Stacy was how I got into the game in 2017. I quit just as they introduced the Moose. I'm playing again and am happy to see so much growth.
To be fair to the wolves, I would run too if I saw a panicking rudolph the red nosed rein-bear running around in a panic.

It's kinda refreshing watching a stalker run from a player at your level. My current stalker run my goal is 500 days and 500 wolves killed.

I totally agree! It’s so nice. I’m a voyager player because I’m terrified of wolves. As soon as I get the feats I’m switching to a hybrid. Voyager wolves, but loot of stalker.

Hey Zak - There is a benefit to us viewers in seeing your gameplay on Stalker as well - It is nice to see how your approach changes when every decision doesn’t mean the difference between life or death. Plus the use of equipment not available in Interloper is nice. Keep up the great content.

At each 5 or 10 minutes, you always teach us something in a clever and easy way, making it super easy to understand and there´s always some new explanation, a curious or fun fact. For instance, I never knew that the carcass harvesting lvl operates differently from the cooking lvl (time spent x amount of items).
Oh.. and about the carrying capacity, at 01:34:36, you forgot to mention the coastal fishcakes. Although they are harder to make (needs Lvl 5 cooking, plus Salt, Potato and Rainbow Trout), I think it's one of the best recipes. Besides the increase on carry weight, they increase stamina and reduce cabin fever. And their weight is only 0.05 each. Thanks a lot for video!

I put this on to watch last night and fell asleep before you found the recipe in the lighthouse. Woke up and was worried you’d missed the recipe, so watching again from the beginning and seeing you find the recipe was such a relief 😂. Stop being so relaxing to watch ;)
41:29 Its so funny to me when they get the flare in their nose, and start running away like Rudolph lol. I was hunting a moose yesterday night in Timberwolf Mountain and the exact same thing happened, gotta love their shining flare nose lol
My tactic is to eat 1 bear meat per 24 hours before lvl 5 cooking to ration my food. I've only gotten parasites once doing that and I've done it for years.
It's nice to see someone play stalker, I don't think I've seen a single RUclips video of tld on stalker difficulty in over a year

I was introduced to this game a few months ago By Neebs Gaming when Appsro played it (and died on day 2), but I can honestly say the best thing I've done is find your channel! You've taught me so much about the actual game play, but more importantly, how to look at the game differently and see the absolute beauty in it. My appreciation for LD is largely due to you and I can't thank you enough. You've also inspired me to try my hand at a run with a spawn in Ash Valley (which I never thought I'd try), and I did it! Am in Timberwolf now, looking to get to the top of the mountain for the very first time. :)
Always nice to see a brother in Neebs. 😆 Great series, but if you really want to learn how to play, this is the place.
If you want some aids, there are really well made maps of each region on the wiki.
I like practicing an Ash Canyon spawn, grab the technical backpack and spikes, then summit. Sometime I even remember that I need a hacksaw before I get to the summit but definitely not always lol
@@sirmagnus99 You can sometimes get crampons at the summit now, and you can get down to the lake hut while skipping all the rope climbs, so you can carry most of the gear in one go. On my current playthrough I started there (as in, I rushed it from Deer Clearing) and was lucky to get them, so when I went to the gold mine after, it let me do the triple climb right away. If you also manage to bag a moose in Timberwolf before going to Ash, so that the hide cures while you're there, then it's basically a perfect start. There's also a hidden hacksaw that sometimes spawns at the summit, inside the plane, under a piece of fuselage on the floor.
@zioming This is my 1st running getting those extra crampons. I don't normally do the triple climb, I hit the cabins on my way unless I spawn past one. Load up in the mine and goat down. Drop everything in deer clearing and hit summit and goat down. Then it's just about how many times I'm gonna go back for all that stuff. Even on stalker it a lot of stuff. I was only missing a second pair of climbing socks at that point. I practice this for an Interloper try.
I find the AC moose at the climbs to be almost 100%. And general can grab one at TM before moving on. Stalker gives so much, I'm starting to feel like it's not really good practice for interloper. Only interloper trains you for interloper 😅
I am an interloper only player(yes im aware i hate myself). You talking about a stalker run in an earlier video made me start one up for a casual break from interloper. And i 100% agree on the loot. Having hundreds of matches and 20°+ clothing sets and all the food and tools is overwhelming.

I think stalker does not mean that the player would find every thing. But when you play on a stalker, the main rule... There is always something else nearby

I prefer stalker over loper. Despite being easier, it gives a waay more complete and fun game experience and you get to shoot moose lol

Does anyone else find they feel like playing TLD more when it's winter in real life? I find myself disinterested in the game during the spring/summer time but once we hit autumn/winter I get back into TLD big time.
The timing of this is excellent. I just restarted my main Stalker run because I accidentally let myself get frostbite on my other Stalker run. Fun fact, you can get frostbite even if your warmth meter is constantly full (had two expedition parkas and decked out other high tier gear in other slots). But I was wearing wool mittens at the time. They froze and I didn’t notice because I had hunted a bear during snow storm and was harvesting/hauling it. Never got cold and suddenly saw the Frostbite notification pop up. I decided to take the learning and restart because I’m aiming for >500 days on the main run and didn’t want that permanent condition loss.
Hope you enjoy the “chill” Stalker run. Can’t wait to see how you deal with weight with so much loot available. I’m constantly have to remind myself to leave stuff on Stalker. I can’t wait for the travois
on my 500 day stalker run i got 3xfrostbites on hands only all because i thought my gear will dry out :) it didint stop me from reaching 500 :)

1:39:21 The simple solution to negligent discharges from the revolver would be to allow different key or button bindings for shooting and interacting.

I've come around on Blackrock after initially being a little bit critical. I think the addition of the Warden's Revolver helps.
There were a couple revolver rounds on the floor of the reichen.
I finaly got back to the game after some tehnical dificultys.

This is much better seeing you find so much stuff. Sure it may make things too easy for you with how you're used to playing but it makes it more interesting to watch.

Stalker is my favourite dificulty, interloper is too hard for me, pilgrim and voyager are too easy, in my run I survive 220 days and my goal is to survive 500 days. Love to see your stalker run

@Zaknafein Time to see the master play a 500 days on a level he is not used too, the bunkers will be fun to watch. Soooo much loot. I think in this run you should set a goal of getting all the revolver, riffle, bow, flashlight, oil lamp variants..

I enjoy the increased amount of resource management in stalker difficulty. The bases I create in stalker are more complex than in my interloper runs.

OK, I'm 23 seconds into the video and staring at 5 wolf corpses and I think a bear in the background...later today I will be heading to Desolation Point on a first decent Stalker run and I now feel even more unprepared!
(I have 10 rifle rounds and 4 shells for my Flare gun. I think it's going to get rough!)

I have avoided using the decoy button to drop stuff because I thought it triggered the wolves to go for the dropped meat.

Glad you decided to make this series, as someone that loves this game and has supported it from the beginning it’s simply just not something I have the time or spare effort to play in depth. Interloper is fine and all, but the lack of loot and weapons makes it difficult to get that secondary dopamine hit, and like you said excludes a lot of content. Interloper can feel more of a grind than a rewarding experience for me, which is not something I look for in a game. Looking forward to more!

I'm happy for the series, maybe you can teach me to enjoy stalker as you taught me to play interloper :D I feel like loper is one way road often with how engaging the difficulty is.

I recently started a chill stalker run also! In case you may not have noticed…. A bear coat now takes 2 skins again. Not that it would be a problem for you but you may be thinking it’s 1 only.

It's so nice to see you having a more 'relaxing' run to your usual loper one. I enjoyed your mastering stalker series so it'll be nice to see a slower paced run. Note to self....don’t re-watch this series whilst sleeping 😁
