I dont even like this color. How did GM manage to make that color look so good. I would personally chosen the color white which is not a color but the abscence of color.
Never thought I would have a red vehicle, but actually ordered one of these last month, coming from a summit white AT4 the red looks so good in person and seems to change under different lighting. cant wait!!!
I just purchased one, got 163 miles and the engine light came on…. censor went out, and at this time, having trouble finding a replacement… what a disappointment…
Ordered this exact truck Jul 14. Volcanic red or white were my choices. VR won for me. Got the black sport side steps. Powered steps belong on Escalades & Ultimates. Not on off road AT4. We do a ton of North driving. Sling a foot of ice & snow on powered steps….that’s a no go.
Too many doors. Not every buyer wants 4 doors! If GM wants to make a cheap, popular vehicle, bring back the Sprint / El Camino! It can be an efficient, great looking car / truck. Everyone who isn't encumbered by a load of screaming brats will want one! Just save your production dollars and forget the mid-gate, leave out the back seat, and scrap the back doors. We don't want them. We won't pay for them. We do want options when it comes to drive train, though. A lot of folks would love to see a V8. I won't begrudge them that, but I'm holding out for an AWD BEV with a frunk and a solar charging, retracting bed cover. If GM won't build it, VW will.

I would recommend film protection for the painted bumper. The stone chips will destroy the paint.

Is their new Thunder Gray color out yet? Built a new AT4 online and the Gray looked great, but the Volcanic Red is my 2nd choice.

you can still get a single cab. You do not have to have a crew cab

What do you mean? The transmissions GM uses for GMC and Chevy HDs with Diesel and Gas engines is a 10-Speed Allison
"Allison approved transmissions." I've had 5 new D-Max & Allison (& Allison approved.)
All good - zero issues.
It's Allison approved due to the software. It's not a true Allison. Ford and GM made the 10 speed together.
