I love thrifting too! I've been on a roll watching DIY aged vessel videos and I have to say, yours is one of the best and most unique that I've seen so far! I absolutely LOVE the fork idea, and you've given me inspiration for the vases that I would normally pass right by like the glass honeycomb. This is something new for me changing from frames and furniture so I'm excited! Thanks! 🥰
Thanks so much 😊
ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS!!!
Absolutely love how you turn everyday vases into the look of pottery.
Needless to say YOU have mad skills. ❤️ your work.
Oh my! Beautiful ❤
I love love love these!!!!!
AWESOME work! Thank you for sharing with us!
Haven’t watched yet, but before it leaves my mind, I love your dining chairs. Watching now.

Where did you find these beautiful vases? 🎉
Gorgeous. Thank you for sharing .❤
I LOVE this vid. Thank you for explaining in such great detail. I especially love that you are using your hands not only for the application of the caulk and sparkle but also the paint. This by far is the best video
Awe, thank you SO much for your kind words. It means a lot! My nickname is LiLi and my grand-baby is named after me and we call her LeLe! Blessings to you!!! ❤️

I know another creator that says that constantly as well so I just had to smile/laugh but I absolutely love using spackle for texture on vases and lamps and yours are absolutely gorgeous!❤❤❤

Thank you so much for the support!
😍
How do you find so cheap vases😯 they are great pieces. Beautiful work!
Thank you! 😊 I find the vases while thrifting. You can choose any vessel that has the shape you like and transform it. ☺️
I just found your channel! Love it!
You’re so kind! Welcome and thank you for the support! Blessings!☺️
Another winner! I love them all but my favorite is the that Pitcher. It looks almost Grecian, as if recovered from some archaeological dig.- battered but not broken. Stunning! And “Thrifting” doesn’t make us cheap... it makes us frugal 😤.
When you said you collected Pfaltzgraff my ears perked up. I’m dating myself, but it was the first dinnerware set I ever purchased. I spent the weekend with my college roommate and her mother had a Stoneware party. I bought the original 20 piece set in blue. I wrapped it and gave it to my mom for Mother’s Day. Ahhh. Good times. Thanks for sharing your gifts with us.
Oh WOW!!!! That’s AWESOME! And you’re absolutely right!!! Thrifting does NOT make us cheap at all!!! I absolute LOVE thrifting! I’ve found some of my most treasured pieces while thrifting! And thank you for sharing the memory of your Pfaltzgraff with me! I SOOO enjoyed reading that! ☺️
Love these!!! What happened to the jug with the square mesh?
I’ll have to go back and watch and see. 🙂
I love your ideas, however, the bubble glass vase you used the spacious in is a really sought after antique vase!
Yes, I found that out afterwards.🤦🏽♀️
The tall white one with ridges looks incomplete spray paint or any kind of paint would make it look better
One example why I like yours more is you are repurposing ... like the fork. One guy said I had to go out and buy a tool to do the textured lines and said needed p plaster of paris.. bought both and didn't need to. Good job once again 👏
Wow very beautiful vases. Where did you buy all these vases?
Hi! Thank you, I bought them all at my local thrift store.
Do you feel like the caulk is very similar to the spackle or is it a lil smoother texture?
It’s just a wee bit smoother, but to be honest you could use either or. You don’t really have to use both.
Will this technique work on plastic pots? And do I have to sand down/ rough up the plastic before adding the spackling?
I don’t think I’ve tried it on plastic but Inthink it’ll work. When you start, if the caulk and sparkling adhere and don’t run, then it’ll dry well for you. I think roughing it up and sanding it a bit will really help. Let me know how it turns outZ happy DIY’ing! ☺️
How long does spackle and caulk take to dry and how long for paint to dry? I was also thinking to add an Epoxy enamel, clear rust guard as a sealer too for weather proofing. Thoughts?
Hi, the one that starts out pink I let dry overnight, but it’s dry essentially when it goes from pink to white. The other dries in 45 mins to an hour give or take, but I let them sit overnight as well ( just because I wasn’t moving on to the next step until the next day). Blessings!
Brilliant video - splacking is called polyfiller here in UK x
Awesome! Thanks for watching all the way from the UK! ☺️
Legend @Geraldine. I was trying to figure that out for Australia
Here in Switzerland they are not selling this product anymore. Il try to find other.
Hi, I have something in mind that I can try and if it works I’ll let you know. Blessings!
@@prettylittlepleasures Very nice of you, thanks! Looking forward to your new idea! Blessings.
Can we use acrylic paint instead of the wax and chalk?
I haven’t tried the acrylics with it. If you do, let me know how it turns out. Also, adding baking soda to the acrylics will give it the same effect as regular chalk paint. 😊
Did you sand any of the textures?
Hi, I did not. ☺️
Can you use this on glass
Hi, yes you can. 😊
Turned out really nice loved it
