That Hank scene where he interrupts Walt's speech is great. Not necessarily needed, the pilot gets the message across, but it's a nice touch to show how Hank unknowingly upstages Walt and how he gets resentful of that...
And his willy nilly use of the sirens, so funny. I thought it was some sort of scary daydream of Walt's because he started the meth cooking recently.
I think they got rid of it because it did make hank come across as a bit of a dick
I think honestly its a bit too on the nose, which is why they didnt go with it. I think the more subtle and less obvious ways hank chooses to take little jabs and makes jokes to emasculate walt, in a way, are much more fitting for the whole tone of the show. I also think in the final cut these come off as much less purposeful, if anything just being friendly banter.
I like the scene where the house guests think Jesse and Walt are gay 7:38
the scene with hank showing up with the police sirens would've served as perfecting foreshadowing.
Hank pointing at her cleavage was hilarious
7:40 perfect timing
Some of these just didn't fit the tone or had a slightly awkward feel. The DEA also wouldn't be that reckless about using their sirens.
Hank would
Larry David would disagree with you.
@@InfernoBlade64 I actually don't think so. They made Hank a bit more comedic in the first season yes, but were trying to find the right tone. This deleted scene was too over the top, and as you saw, he evolved into a bit more of a serious character.
That awkward feel must be because it's just raw foorage
@@sir_john_hammondGetting shot 5 times and almost paralyzed by the god damn Salamanca twins of all people will do that to you.
Walt kills me LMAOOOOO planning to go to the store each time to get one pack for their cook 💀💀💀💀
if that hank scene wasn't deleted, it would be his introduction, and would mirror him entering the place of his final scene in the show in tohajilee. Minus the sirens.
That scene with the “contributor to research awarded the Nobel Prize” plaque didn’t need to make the show, but the plaque itself for sure should’ve
It did, you can see Walt stare at it while he's using the treadmill.
@@astrikos4011 thank you. That’s a scene I forgot entirely about. Total retroactive gut punch moment for Walt’s ego now that he’s living fueled by it
It did- it’s the first scene after the opening title sequence when Walt wakes up early and exercises in the nursery; the plaque is on the wall. The tone of that scene feels much more depressing with Walt being alone at dawn while everyone is asleep as he unflatteringly does a stair-stepper, giving the impression of a physically weakening, dying man.
Edit: didn’t see the other replies, but I think explaining the context makes a difference
2:58 - "Walt, I don't know man..."
2:08 who in the hell was he supposed to be? I guess some math friend from gray matter. Or a school teacher friend.
7:17 gives fanfiction vibes
the dea blasting their sirens throughout the neighborhood for a birthday party would have been so unrealistic and stupid
I understand why they were left out.. 😅
Why?
@@bigboi57 Sometimes, it's hard to explain. Maybe the scene is uninteresting, barely advances plot/character development, is too long for its purpose, interrupts the tone of the episode, etc.
Or maybe every non-deleted scene was just better, and they had to remove something. A big part of editing shows/films is removing *good* content.
@bigboi57 Probably them interrupted the pacing of the show or not being necessary. Some scenes also feel experimental, like with Hank. Like another comment mentioned, it felt too over the top, even for Hank.
4:25 Jesse predicted better call Saul :0
How
@@Negos. there’s an episode of BCS called Fun And Games
such an underrated channel
Interesting; the first two Walt and Jesse scenes had their dynamic reversed from the final show; jesse was angily lecturing Walt on the necessary materials, while Walt sheepishly listened.
"okay tough guy"😂😂😂😂
These are golds for another twenty years
Forever man forever.
walter jr omg... i love him sm why did they cut those scenes of him outtttttt😫😫
If that's what they cut out, what they leave in must be pure gold.
“Hahaha they haven’t changed a bit.”
glad they were edited out heh
DUDE THE HANK SCENE.... WTF WERE YALL THINKING CUTTING THAT OUT???!?!?!?!?!?!?!
Some of these scenes would've be great to make it in the cut
Which ones? I'm glad they were all left out, haha
@@Kinespojken the first one when walt looked at his nobel peace price. It's like what walt couldve been
@@Kinespojken Exactly.
@@Kinespojken The first one was good
@@ethancbaker2002but it's still used in the show just done better so
these r so painful lol good thing they left them out 🤣
What the fuck was that second scene ending 😂😂
never even seen these
For the son : Yah , let's stay with the breakfast
intresting !!!!!!
Imagine if the whole series were like this. It’s like a bad soap opera compared to the final cut
they shouldve kept the birthday scene
It was corny
What's suprise ❤ thx
wow I love Breaking Bad but these sucked
Because they're not fully edited
From an alternate reality where Breaking Bad sucked.
