seeing these terrible scenes get removed makes me realize how good the show is, keeping exactly the right scenes and knowing when to delete the bad/goofy ones
@@asgilly yes, but I think they also had extras, the blueberry muffin scene for example was replaced with walter on the couch being more ornery when jr asked where mom was, and then more spry to get out of the house. The muffin scene had a different vibe like he had already planned it, while the couch scene made it feel more spur of the moment, trying to quickly deflect away from the situation and having to deal with it
The whole scene with walter teaching his students was a great scene. It shoukdve been clsssified as more of a "Bonus scene" then deleted. That was great!
I feel like the process he was teaching in that scene was a nod to his relationship with Jesse, two elements with no business mixing, being brought together by the right emulsifier. In Jesse and Walt's case: Meth.
2:33 Glad they cut that one out. Otherwise, we wouldn't have the scene in BTC 6X12 with Mike reveiling himself to Saul that Walt is a chemistry teacher. And we would have miss the "subtle" analogy he does with the BetaMax 😂
Would it contradict that scene? Maybe it was just Saul asking for further confirmation from Mike after what he had already told him in that scene. Then Saul goes down there himself. Doesn't really seem out of place at all to me (although not very necessary hence why it was cut in the first place).
@@jxsh03 I mean I get that, but it does definitely feel it would contradict Mike's intention of the news to begin with, "Let it go" felt pretty firm. And frankly if Saul asked for further confirmation, I don't see why he would've just asked it then and there, as to which Mike would've just had it on-hand. Either way, yeahh the scene is kinda' ham-fisted and I'm glad it was cut.
I wish they have kept the scene where Walt teaches his students. All I know about Walt as a teacher from the show is kinda unrespected, unhinged, and just off (mostly due to his medical condition and bad conscience tho). But as we can see in the clip, Walt genuinely enjoys teaching them, and students seem to enjoy his lesson too. It makes the whole show even more tragic that Walt (kinda) had to give this life up and chose the path of being a criminal.
i wish i could create something as amazing as this genuinely this is one of the best things ive ever seen, heard, read, anything i just want to be in a writers room like that, or editing, going "maybe we don't need that scene for context, the viewer understands it enough"
@@sandman_2004 All it does is reinforce his PTSD and anxiety over confronting the cartel again, we already get that with the Schraderbrau scenes though
I really liked the scene where Walter teaching chemistry and shows how good and captivating he can be as a teacher (seeing how overqualified he is), but i understand why they cut it out, as it is kind of useless to the story as a whole.
The only deleted scene in the enire show that was better not to be deleted, was the one in which Walt tells Jesse and Todd about their train heist and it's dollar-wise value.
I think the DR. hallucinations are really just Walter’s deepest thoughts, and they where going reflect his thoughts to Us viewers to get a better understanding of what was on his mind in certain scenes, kinda like how Dexter keeps having reflections of his father harry throughout the series and he reconciles options he’s gotta do to catch some guy or fix some thing quick, I’m glad they took this idea out of breaking bad, I loved the small hints of what Walt’s thoughts where, like the Lilly of the valley scene when he’s spinning the gun on the back yard table, and you can see Walt has an idea 💡, but literally had no clue the complexity of the idea and had to wait until gus was officially dead and then we get to look back and go “Aaaaaahhh that’s why”. In breaking bad, which to me is why it made the show literally the best show in history’. Everytime Walt has an idea to escape or fix or reverse the situation in his favor, we only get a little glimpse of what it could possibly be, and let’s be honest, none of us predicted correctly what the hell he was gonna do. There were some flashback scenes in the series, and I would have liked to see a scene in the series that showed Jesse's past behavior during Walter's class.
Why does this have such a weird visuals? I'm guessing this is some kind of old tv thing, but what is the specific reason that it has these weird squarish look to it? I really would like to know because it looks cool!

My god, Walt Jr is even having breakfast in deleted scenes.
he had too many breakfasts so they had to delete atleast one

I like how almost all of the deleted scenes with Walter White is him being a good person 😭

though I agree, you have to know these are not edited fully, as the scenes that are in the series are edited so only the best moments are shown

AMC let them shoot on cameras which would include artifacts, it was an intentional stylistic choice.
