Relieving some suffering of the current days by finding some live recordings that I was at. I was pretty close to the front. Trying to see myself hhaha This wasn't even my most memorable Jade Fiya Wata. I was front row that same summer at Wiggins Park in Camden, I'd love to find a live recording of that show! I held hands with Jade for a phrase or two. I'll never forget it. Good times. Can't believe those days of mine are over! but sad that I couldn't revive them if I wanted to at the moment!!!!!

drug addiction
The claim of drug addiction is heresy. It has been widely acknowledged that both used drugs though it was Alex who became heroin addicted, as he has said on multiple occasions. There has never been a real reason given by any band member. I think dude was in love with her(check the beginning of this song when Jade ssys something to the guitar player and in the background Alex looks them both over). Thry were indeed a couple but broke during the time the band was together. I don't think he ever accepted it and that's why she was out. Every perfomance video I've seen of them after Jade was gone showed a much less joyous Alex than when she was in the band. Love can have long lasting effects for sure....
@@GCanCV she was dating the piano player. She tells the guitar player play the faster. They do the song at different tempos in different performances. Alex looks at them because the entire band is expecting it one way that's why she laughs and sticks her tongue out

Still for me she was the only one shining. She just have that voice which shines even among a singing group.
