Incredibly hard work in that humidity. No bee suit? I had a swarm make a hive in my front yard water use meter box a couple summers ago. There was only one keeper that could get the bees and he was out of state at the time. Out here, beekeepers do it for a hobby like my guy did, or they have crews that hit the farms around here to set up those box hives in the fields. The hobbyists do not charge, as far as I know. The bees set up their hive on a Sunday, and on Friday when the keeper came out, the hive itself was about the size of a standard football. I watched the whole process from when the bees swarmed into the yard, cycloned into the water meter box, and again I watched the bee keeper remove the bees and hive. He told me that he was going to relocate them someplace where they can do their thing without getting bothered. It was really fascinating to me.
Hey, those vines would have probably broken your fall, kinda. Where the heck was Darren? Another great video showing why cutouts aren't free. Thank you.
I will do a cutout for free sometimes. I have in a really poor neighborhood for an old man who wanted his little stoop. The bees had moved in and he could not afford to pay someone. He was going to have kids pour gas on the hive. I figure I saved some kid from getting his ass handed to him.
I live in Texas and have bees in my wall between the brick and wall inside can't afford to pay for the removal..Guess if they go extinct I can raise them.
Good removal! Honestly I can't believe anyone would think removals are free. Most people I know won't even go near a bee (just a bee not a wasp) let alone a hive...so I feel like they'd be more incentivized to pay to get someone to come get them. My patio is covered in plants and I get quite a few honey bees, bumblebees and other pollinators all inches from me and I've never been stung.
When I was little, probably about 9-10 years old, some friends and I got the bright idea to take a cattail and shove it down a yellow jacket hive at the base of this tree in our neighborhood, I grabbed a cattail from the lake right next to the hive, probably about 2 foot long with the branch still attached, walked straight up to the hole where the yellow jackets were coming in and out of and jammed the cattail in about 2.5 times and before I got the third stroke one zipped out and stung me directly in the white of my eye. I cried and cried the only thing that made me feel a little better was my childhood best friend grabbed the cattail and avenged my sting and he went and did the same thing I did and yelled “you don’t sting my best friend in the eye” while ramming the cattail in the hole. I just remember watching him run away from the hive and a million black specks pinging off his bare back. I was crying holding one hand over my eye but the sight of the yellowjackets chasing him and pinging off his back made me forget about whatever pain I was in and I started laughing out loud, and then shortly later returned to crying. I thought I was going to go blind, but I went to the eye doctor and he said I would be okay, I would just have some floaters eventually in my vision, and sure enough they came, but my sight was fine and so was I. But ever since I have been deathly afraid of bees hornets wasps anything that flys and stings, my natural reaction is to start dodging them and running inside, but after watching a lot of your videos over the past couple weeks I’ve kind of overcome my fear of bees and such, seeing the way you handle them just gives me some confidence that a stray bee isn’t looking to fuck my day up and if it did the sting isn’t that bad, definitely not worse than looking like a total puss in front of whoever I’m with. Sorry about the novel just thought I’d share. Love the content, you seem like a great man.
People sometimes don't value somebody else's work, don't work for free unless you feel like it! It's hard work and i don't personally know anyone who does it, i just like watching your videos for some reason🤣

@@pamelaflirtyskunk7698 my last MIL used to refer to ANYTHING I cooked, that took less time to prepare than she did, (under 3 hours), "fast food". Couldn't understand why I got ticky when I said, " no, its still healthy food, just prepared quickly. Decent cooks know how to do that." (Often using leftovers as a base) Funnily enough she got offended and never brought it up again. Especially when her son mentioned that her "hamburgers" weren't like "my" hamburgers. Her's were simply compressed ground beef into a patty form. So she wanted to know how I made mine...about the same as I make meatloaf...starting with unfrozen, *neverfrozen* fresh ground beef....cracker crumbs, a couple of eggs, depending on how much ground beef you're starting with...continue from there, she's going "what for?" "Well, taste for starters, eggs to bind everything together......whatever's in the cupboard or fridge that needs using up...mustard, mayo, bits of relish..", and this way, I CAN freeze the rest for future use. If I'd gotten the meat frozen first, then thawed it to make this way, I can't *safely* REfreeze for future use, and she immediately turned and walked away. Then was offended the next time she served her cardboard patties and her husband and other son groaned, asked if she'd like to join them, they were going to go grab some REAL burgers and drove into town (15 kms) to McDonald's for some (fast food!😯🙃) burgers. Snarky enough of them, but they actually brought them BACK, sat at the table and ate them in front of her! Even offering to share their fries. She asked why they didn't just go over to "other son" and "my place?" "Never thought of it, were they bbq-ing? Should've, might've had STEAK!"🤔👏👏😪 sure didn't endear me any further to her.😉🤗🤗😯 wonder why...🤔🙄😘 which really didn't, and still doesn't, bother me. I'd only have been insulted if *anyone* ever preferred her cooking/baking etc. to mine! THAT would have been a genuine slap on the face!

You hit the nail on the head. That's exactly what I used.
I just happened to come across your channel by accident. You are amazing man, I can’t believe how you get those bees. Your the only bee channel I’ve ever subscribed too. Great job from Michigan 👍👍
Much appreciated! I'll take all the support I can get.
The March of the Bees is amazing. Don't know how I got as old as I am and never heard of it. Randy, you be careful up that high. I got a lot more learning I need from you.
I'll do my best to watch my footing.
Should be free, It's just a swarm removal, LoL. Bees make free honey to get rich on, Hahaha
And of course they've only been there for two weeks.
@@628DirtRooster besides you get to post on the utubes ...free honey, free bees, free content, and free use of the outdoor sauna ...dang you should be paying them
@@TheHandyHippieCrew don't be going and giving anyone any stoopid ideas now!😘🤔🤯🦄🤣🤣🤣
When you have a high porch place like that again, try using a 'loadlock' going from the post to the house for a safety support nxt to your ladder.
I was waiting for the trailer to tump over onto the log. You done good!
That was a tough one looked like. Great job!
Talk about a hard way to get them.
Thanks for the new video big guy
Sho nuf man! My pleasure.
Hey Rooster. Glad to see another video brother. Yep I seen that video with the big oak log.
Massive tree
Awesomely edited man! I enjoyed watching!! Keep 'em coming!! 🐝☮️☯️
Great stuff, PROUD of Y'ALL
I live in Texas and have bees in my wall between the brick and wall inside can't afford to pay for the removal..Guess if they go extinct I can raise them.
In an emergency you'll have honey.
Another one stings the dust
That’s something how they just know to go in the hive box like that.
I am curious, will bees build a hive on a boat?
Totally AWESOME video Mr. Rooster. Wish you were able to do more frequent vids
That's the dream, just having fun making videos.
I think this one of your best. Thanks!
That's very nice of you to say man. Thanks
People sometimes don't value somebody else's work, don't work for free unless you feel like it! It's hard work and i don't personally know anyone who does it, i just like watching your videos for some reason🤣
"No clue what that is".......I bet, lol
Mr. Ed does the DirtRooster know about all the spy ware and tracking equipment you got on his vehicle? Rofl. Oh Randy I don't think Mama let's Mr. Ed out after dark🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
He thinks he’s not being watched but his mom calls me and reports in on him.
With all that landscaping she needs some bees just not in her house.
Nice one Randy. Thank you.
Package bees are 180 shipped. So that’s around 400 in bees
Always good to see a new video rooster!!!looked like a rough cut out on that call
Good explanation of why removals aren't free
Nice job
Pickle juice for cramps after sweating if u dont have that mustard works just as good!
I'll try it
Offering a free bee.... Classic....
Maybe you should up your prices 🤔.
So much hard work 💪!!!!
Will they all fit in that one box?? Great video Rooster be safe GOD BLESS.
Did Queen make it in that log? Love me some Dirt Rooster keep em coming
Yeah, did you get the queen? Thanks for the videos! :}
+1 on this i gotta know haha
I was thinking "that poor log".
now thats dedication to a hobby-- nice recovery- many blessings...Glo
I'm thinking his "hobby bee keeping is a way of life". Full time and not just hobby. Blessings.
Loving life right now. Hope all is well up in the hills. :)
Please could you show more of southern life, different world from here in the UK,thanks
I'll try to incorporate more where I can. I understand liking to see different areas, cultures and lifestyles. I subscribe to a lot of channels outside the US for that very reason.
@@628DirtRooster thank you
Stay away from that fast food man. It'll kill ya.
There are actually some decent food choices at fast food places now. I don't eat fast food but on rare occasion but man, some of the salads at those places are GREAT! When I'm tired and too lazy to make one at home, I go pick up salads. LOL I used to eat WAY too much garbage fast food. But I completely changed my eating habits and I've lost 73 lbs so far this year.
@@pamelaflirtyskunk7698 Can't eat too much green if it ain't covered with glop!
So she wanted to know how I made mine...about the same as I make meatloaf...starting with unfrozen, *neverfrozen* fresh ground beef....cracker crumbs, a couple of eggs, depending on how much ground beef you're starting with...continue from there, she's going "what for?"
"Well, taste for starters, eggs to bind everything together......whatever's in the cupboard or fridge that needs using up...mustard, mayo, bits of relish..", and this way, I CAN freeze the rest for future use.
She asked why they didn't just go over to "other son" and "my place?"
"Never thought of it, were they bbq-ing? Should've, might've had STEAK!"🤔👏👏😪 sure didn't endear me any further to her.😉🤗🤗😯
wonder why...🤔🙄😘 which really didn't, and still doesn't, bother me. I'd only have been insulted if *anyone* ever preferred her cooking/baking etc. to mine! THAT would have been a genuine slap on the face!
Do RC, so does breathing. Lol
Why did you put water on the vac box before letting them out ? Thanks for sharing your work!
Foam, seal those holes. Job done!😂
It's nice to know that even in your profession, there are still idiot customers who don't understand just how much work is involved in a job, and try to get it done on the cheap...
those plants you pointed out was first basil, then looks like mint and that one you pointed at that you didnt know what it is, is Jerusalem artichoke that produces a bulb in the ground that looks like ginger that you can pickle or oven ;)
I wish I knew them that well. I'd be munching while I worked.
Bring the bathroom scale, and weigh yourself before and after. However much weight you lose in sweat is what you charge.
😂 That would bee ideal, except how does he account for the honey he eats?
@@sharonmclain4158 I thought about it, but I didn't want to just come out and say it...
Those stings will pay for themselves. That's kind of where I was headed with that joke.
😀 Maybe for him, but not for me. 1: I'm afraid of heights. 2: I really don't like pain. 3: Bees like stinging me, even when I'm nowhere near their hive. I'll just keep buying my honey. 👵 And you will have to excuse me, cause at my age, I'm a bit slow on getting jokes.
@@sharonmclain4158 I'm no spring chicken either. Some jokes get past me, too. If you've been stung as many times as Rooster has, you'd understand half of his sweat is from the stings.
I'm not sure if our host sells honey or wax products, but if he doesn't? I'm sure he knows a guy.
I like thatBriefcase case vacuum did you ever post the video on who made it
Your vac cage has to be the prettiest piece of equipment you own. Why don’t have a pull screen like Mr Ed uses? And where can I buy something like that? (I had 0 woodworking capability.)
