You are one lucky duck!! A gorgeous colony, boxed up and ready to roll, and it came with spare, brand-spanking new virgin queens! There might've been a few hiccups, but all in all, a job splendidly done~
Randy you are amazing at pinpointing where the bees are at. I mean they are behind walls, under floors, in roofs, etc.... and you are always within inches of hitting the exact spot.....YOU ROCK bud👍👍👍👍
Love it, love it, love it... this was an awesome video Randy!! A swarm, plus a removal. Finding the queen, plus finding capped queen cells!! So many excellent camera angles! Thanks for taking the time to edit and piece it all together !! Fantastic work. 🐝🐝🐝☮️
Man it was like winning a sweepstakes. Gifts were just being thrown at me from all directions. lol Thanks for the love Tim. Can't wait for you next vid.
The sale of the house will close tomorrow, so you must (1) locate the bees, (2) open the wall, (3) remove the bees, (4) repair the wall, and (5) write a letter informing the buyer that everything is okay now. ... and while you're at it, how 'bout fixin' a couple of leaky faucets, and the roof should be re-shingled, and then re-paint the living room, and then .......
Haaa! They always wait until the last minute and then have a bunch of hoops for me to jump through. I did two others last week that had just rented and need bees out immediately. I guess I should quit everything else I have going on and set up my office at the fire department for these life threatening emergencies they call me with. I can't complain though. I enjoy it too much.
All the niceness goes away the instant you set the rate at $100/hr plus expenses for a guy who wears six hats. Beekeeper, carpenter, roofer, siding installer, hvac tech, exterminator, and flooring specialist.
I've done bee removals where we repaired the damages too. One comes to mind where masonry and a scaffold was involved and the bill was in the thousands. I've run into ppl that think it's going to be free as well. Uh uh. I was not kidding about $100/hour.
I just want to say that i am a huge fan of your channel Dirt Rooster. I love watching you and Mr. Ed both. I think it's awesome you guys have a friendly competition, and are also cool buddies. Makes me smile watching you guys. Thank you both and God bless you all.
I fell down this RUclips hole and I’m so glad I did! I had no knowledge of how bee keeping works and it’s totally fascinating and beautiful. Thanks for the awesome videos!
I had to laugh when that swarm cluster fell to pieces right as you were trying to get it into a box. Same happened to me last weekend, only I was lucky enough to have the queen fall into the box. Kudos on a textbook hive transplant, and thanks for another excellent video.
Het Rooster, I really liked this video. It is cold and rainy in Pa and not supposed to clear until Wednesday. This was a great day after church to watch your videos.....Rick
After all that activity outside the hive was surprisingly subdued inside of the house, I was expecting a lot more of them to get riled up once you peeled back the wall!
I had a friend who left an open carton of orange juice on a picnic table. When he returned, he took a swig and spit out a bunch of yellow jackets. I used his experience to write a poem called "Mouthful of Bees." Sounded better than the other bugs. I got an A.
My dad got the brite idea of using straws to drink soda pop on camping trip. . It was long ago when you had to use a church key to open a can. The idea was to keep the 'bees' out. Yellow jackets crawled into the straw and dad got sent to the ER with stings inside his mouth. Ouch.
I expected mad bees to pour out when you opened up the sheetrock. For a second I thought the cavity was gonna be empty. But nope, they were just sittin there as calm as the society column of a newspaper.
I'd have to try a reptipro plugged in to put brood in as many cutouts as you do,I've hatched drones in incubator (don't ask lol) so I think it'd work, maybe couple wet sponges in it instead of water lol
great video-- that was a small queen-- i hope they accept her and you end up with a strong hive-- been missing my BEE GURU vids- quality over quantity --love and huggs...Glo
Sure I'll go with you if I can stay in the house and watch! Good place to be and never be far away from bacon and shrimp sammiches or bees maybe. Good job, Randy! A-PLUS! I guess you saw Mr. Ed 5 feet off the ground with no parachute or oxygen mask. Miracles will never cease!
I really love and appreciate the videos I’ve learned a lot just got my bee jacket in and some of my big gear I’m working on getting a few hives I can’t wait to start my own bee yard you’ve been an inspiration keep making the videos🐝
those are what we call off set tin snips ( i used to do construction).. that Japanese saw ought to work just fine but it works differently than a normal saw it cuts on the opposite stroke than a normal saw
Started watching this, got to the swarm falling off the branch and had to stop and think a bit........ rewind to the start and no, it was Randy welcoming us all back to the 628 Dirt Rooster channel where hobby beekeeping is a waaaay of life....... thought I was tuned in to Mr Ed's channel with those kind of antics- but then there wasn't the associated squealing like a teenage girl when the bees dropped......... I guess that should have confirmed whos video it was.

Two colonies with spare parts. Who could ask for more?
Their they go marching into the box it's just like magic, lol love it.

Randy you are amazing at pinpointing where the bees are at. I mean they are behind walls, under floors, in roofs, etc.... and you are always within inches of hitting the exact spot.....YOU ROCK bud👍👍👍👍

It's so easy to do.
I have watched way too many of these videos

@628DR Just charge a late booking fee.

Wow, didn't know you could keep a queen outdoor like that. Thanks much something good to know.
Watchin these little guys march to the box never gets old. 4:47
Awwww, you find her and then put her close to her family.. 😊
Haha
The tree bees looked like a heart. Awww! Lol
I was thinkin to myself, the bees are making a heart, so that means the queen is in there.
17:52 Cute bee rolls off hive.
Did anybody else see the bee who fell on his back then fell of the box at 17:50 that gave me a good laugh
Rolled off like a fat kid off a bunk bed.
628DirtRooster 😂😂😂😂
lmao.
You mean Laurel?
Drone slap stick.
Enjoyed this video no end. Thank you Mr. Rooster.

15:09 I didn’t know that queen bees make this kind of noise . Learnt something new . Thanks
That is so awesome!!! I’ve never gotten to hear a queen singing!!!
Some of them really go to town like they're playing a kazoo in a school talent show. lol
628DirtRooster that’s amazing! I wish I wasn’t allergic so I could also keep bees. It seems like such a wonderful hobby!
Such a fascinating hobby to watch.
Give it a try. You'll love it.
I noticed you're about to hit 1,000 subs. Nice!
You bee a hard working man leading an interesting life! Thank you for sharing. And for educating. I like it!
I fell down this RUclips hole and I’m so glad I did! I had no knowledge of how bee keeping works and it’s totally fascinating and beautiful. Thanks for the awesome videos!
Thanks for the great comment.

They just weren't holding on tight enough. lol
Cool to see the bees emerging from the comb
I enjoy watching and learning about honey bees
Thanks for the views Nicholas
I think that guy was afraid you was going to take that honey back.
He started scarfing it down as soon as he got his hands on it. LOL
My guess is he just didn't want to be on the internet with honey dripping down his face onto his shirt. :D Memes happen.
That's possible.
Rob
Not bad, 2 complete hives and an extra queen.
SCORE! lol
They were so chill. Amazing.
Het Rooster, I really liked this video. It is cold and rainy in Pa and not supposed to clear until Wednesday. This was a great day after church to watch your videos.....Rick
I hope it brings some warm dry weather your way. :)
Great job Randy! With a deadline like that looming, I would have been too nervous to even get started. LOL
I jump in like a fat kid in a cannonball contest.
LOL!
I love these videos! The commentary seriously makes them the best.
Why do I always say holly shit when I watch your videos... That is amazing stuff
LOL Good to see you're posting videos again.
Hey, nice catch! Good to see the bees are busy
Been a good year.
very nice capture Randy, one of the easier ones i've seen you do
With the ones I've been getting lately I'm surprised it wasn't forty feet up on some high tension power lines.
hahahaha
very cool. funny that the bees were impatient with you and started making comb right on the queen cage lol. Cheers from PEI Canada, Bryan.
They were in the home building mood for sure.
I wish it was longer I wanted to see more I really like to see you work with the Beez you're awesome 👍👏😄😄😄
Could have been much longer. This was cut out of over an hour of footage.
Make a second channel to put all the extras on.
Jackpot cut out. Damn, she's a good queen.
No doubt
After all that activity outside the hive was surprisingly subdued inside of the house, I was expecting a lot more of them to get riled up once you peeled back the wall!
They are usually pretty laid back when you open the back of the hive.
Dude has no suite savage 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻(bee suite)
I really enjoyed watching and learning. Thanks. Professional 👍🇺🇸🖐️
I had a friend who left an open carton of orange juice on a picnic table. When he returned, he took a swig and spit out a bunch of yellow jackets. I used his experience to write a poem called "Mouthful of Bees." Sounded better than the other bugs. I got an A.
LOL I hope there was some beat boxing in it.
Just make sure they're drones.
Does he scream in b flat now?
My dad got the brite idea of using straws to drink soda pop on camping trip. . It was long ago when you had to use a church key to open a can. The idea was to keep the 'bees' out.
Yellow jackets crawled into the straw and dad got sent to the ER with stings inside his mouth. Ouch.

Thanks Terry
Something about the BEE March to the box just fascinates me.
I never knew the Queen bees could Sing, that's actually Awesome to see and hear!

Je vous remercie pour ce travail ,continue, mes salutations
Thanks for your support.
I LOVE when you film "the march"
I expected mad bees to pour out when you opened up the sheetrock. For a second I thought the cavity was gonna be empty. But nope, they were just sittin there as calm as the society column of a newspaper.
LOL They were just like those society types.
13:27 -- another satisfied customer
Oh he was loving it. All he needed was a cold Coke to wash it down.
Love this channel ❤️
You do such a great job filming. Bees really are beautiful as they work. Busy busy bees.
“Got a hair in my mouth”
Nice 👍🏼
Had to trim the stache.
wow!! no protective gear? VERY BRAVE
what great timing that queen was probably about to take all those great queen cells out too
1:26 - 1:27 that the queen and a drone zipping past together
Balls of steel. Also, I miss Gulfport!
Good place to live.
absolutely amazing 😎✔
Nice ApiGrape Picking !
I'd have to try a reptipro plugged in to put brood in as many cutouts as you do,I've hatched drones in incubator (don't ask lol) so I think it'd work, maybe couple wet sponges in it instead of water lol
You gonna count that as two legit swarms to try and catch up with Jeff? :)
Heck at this point I'm counting bumble bees, butterflies, fire flies.... anything that flies.
@628DR Buy some new pants. Zipper flies count too. :)
Rooster, you’re getting some gray in that beard! Lol.
It's RUclips. It's making me old.
Neh, he just missed a spot with the paintbrush.
*PAPOW!* to Mister Ed for the just-happened-to-be-here swarm catch and *PAPOW!* to JP for the instant queen catch.
Lmbo,,, that fellow is HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY.... GOD LOVE HIM
LOL.... My dad always said. if you wanna do a job, make sure you've got the right tools.
You need to drag a Lowes home improvement store around with you for this job.
Lol
Oooo yes and thank you for your videos. Love them all.
Very calm colony of wall bees... love my pull saw... aren’t they great?
I can't be without one. I always have at least two around the house.

Thanks for the videos. Subbed from Dawsonville, GA.
just subscribed DR, those wild hives don't always build with the Y up... clean removal!
Thanks for the sub Bill.
That wall hive was BEAUTIFUL! I hope they are doing well now, in your care! Could we get a tour/update on your personal hives?
Oh man, I need to do that.
Hey Rooster that was a Play Flight. Watch em corkscrew up and then return back.
They were playing all right. lol

Get a pair of felco secateurs, they are the best, and will last a lifetime.
Plus you can pause, take bathroom breaks and never miss a lick.
I did see Mr. Ed in the tree. Reminded me of Zacchaeus in the bible. :)
Short of stature, wasn't how it was worded? Close enough and THANK YOU for hauling me around! I get you gas money eventually!
Think nothing of it. You don't eat much.
I try and be dainty around you and courteous but I can really hide some groceries!
Love your new videos there really artistic

ROTFL!
Wow! Good one.
Thanks Mum :)
Ya... Use what ever shakes the nest most.
I was hoping for a new vid earlier today. This was a fantastic one! Your production keeps getting better.
How many times did you get sting during this??.
