Hey Paul Katie and Jasper. It was great to meet up with you and Tony at the Undarra Lava Tubes tour. Loved Cobald Gorge after your recommendation. We had carpet like roads on our way up to the tip and back via Weipa. No gundd as hot for us as was too muddy on the way in but checked Palm creek on the way down. It is such a great experience to do the cape. Loved all the roadhouses along the way. Will keep watching your episodes as it reminds us of what we did. Cheers Shelly and Tony
Absolutely brilliant episode guys, looked like it was so much fun😊😊 we're still in the planning stages here. I brought your ebook & we're off to buy a whiteboard tomorrow 😊😊 have a great week & safe travels ❤❤
Ferry man great song. Loves jaspers knowledge of music kids these days would would be very rare to know such old music. Loving content just wondering how much would fuel return cost say from cairns for a trip like this.
So good! Love the road trip tunes and enjoying doing this music education with Jasper - my Dad did the same with me 💙🕺. Re: fuel an estimate and we can get an actual (just not this minute 😅) $1000-$1200 return (based on $2.50 pl diesel x 2000km averaging 20l per 100km 😬👍🇦🇺🍻 hope I got my suns correct ✅
Great video...we did the Cape York for 3 weeks in August from Cairns (we live in Cairns). We bypassed the old telegraph track...we only did a small bit to get to Elliot Falls campground. We had amazing time. Wondering when did you do this trip & how long for..thanks.😊
@TheFeelGoodFamily i think we saw your group at Weipa...we were there for 3 nights for the Weipa rodeo -17th-19t. Some awesome sunsets there..we had our cheeses & wine on the grass. Baramunchies were closed due the staff attending the rodeo..that is why no one was there.
We always travel with the table down, however as you say it does move around on the corrugated roads and rubs against seating. Put a pool noodle between table, slice the noodle on one side and attack to table. Hope this helps you.
I can't understand why you don't do some of the tougher tracks when you visit these areas. From memory you didn't do the Gibb river Road when in the area and now you haven't done the Telegraph Track. You have a vehicle capable of doing tougher tracks and don"t? One of the reasons I travel to these areas is to do the tougher tracks and see all that is on offer in the areas. I have done a fair few tough tracks over the years including the Canning Stock Route, Gibb River Road, Tanami Road and the Cape multiple times so that I can experience the whole area, not just some of it like you. I hate to be harsh as I generally like your Vlogs but I think you need to toughen up a bit!
Just watched it and you truly missed out, there is some spectacular points along that track, we towed our Jayco camper the first half of Tele track as camper was too wide for second half just did it by car, there’s chicken tracks around some of them, but truly missed out, the hidden waterfall and rock pool at Sam’s Creek for one, the log bridge as well, we’ve done the Tele track twice 2003 and 2011, you’ll only damage your vehicle if your a bloody idiot, it’s so much fun, I honestly don’t know what the carry on is about Gibb etc, with upgraded suspension mine was ARB its easy, we did Tanami visiting the communities and the landscape was breathtaking
Good advice! This accident happened the week before we were there and fortunately the recovery with everyone there went well and they continued on their trip north 👌 safe travels

Enjoyed the episode! Thank you.
Had a good laugh when Paul said one of the elderly men looks as if he is at Heavens door. 🤣🤣
Haha! They were seriously funny and great entertainment that was unexpected given how remote the station is 👍🇦🇺🕺

That’s a brilliant suggestion! Thank you we will share 🕺💙🇦🇺
It doesn’t look too busy, what month were you doing this trip?
Mid August - toward the tail end of the season 👍🇦🇺💙

All good and not taken as harsh and everyone has their opinion and we can respect that 🙏💙
That’s a great suggestion 🍻🇦🇺🏕️👍

That palm Creek entry should be blocked off by rangers or dug out
It may happen…. it will be interesting to see how it is managed in the future that’s for sure
Before watching ep try n pull the bloody thing back off the roof.
